The Neighborhood:

Zion’s Tiny Getaway sits in the heart of Southern Utah’s canyon country, where red-rock cliffs, open desert, and dark night skies create a stunning backdrop for your stay. Our tiny home community is located just off Highway 59, so you may notice some road activity as you arrive - but the homes back up to sweeping red-rock views and a quiet residential area, offering a peaceful place to unwind once you’re settled in.

Apple Valley itself is a small, rural desert town with virtually no light pollution, making it perfect for stargazing. You’re also a short drive from the larger hubs of Hurricane, Utah, and Colorado City, Arizona, where you’ll find grocery stores, restaurants, gas stations, and all the essentials for your adventures. With Zion National Park, Gooseberry Mesa, Sand Hollow, and countless trails and viewpoints within easy reach, this location puts you right in the middle of Southern Utah’s best scenery and outdoor experiences.

Getting Around:

A car is the best way to explore Southern Utah’s wide-open spaces, and you’ll have convenient parking right beside your tiny home. Bikes are absolutely welcome - this area is a dream for riders. Gooseberry Mesa, one of the world’s premier mountain biking destinations, is just a quick 6-minute drive away, with miles of trails and public lands to discover. Whether you’re cruising scenic highways or hitting desert singletrack, adventure is never far from your door.

Other Things to Note:

Most guests visit us for Zion National Park, but Southern Utah offers far more than one iconic destination. The tiny house neighborhood was cute. The inside decor was modern and cute. Our only issue was it was a little warm sleeping because the cool air doesn't reach the lofts and we even had a fan. Also I would add in the welcome/instruction booklet (which was very helpful) where/how to dispose of trash. I skimmed through multiple times and did not see that, but we asked and were responded to quickly. Thank you for your hospitality!

Stayed at the tiny house for a long weekend with my husband. Pros - very clean, comfortable beds, central location if traveling between Zion/Bryce/Grand Canyon, nice views from top deck. Pictures on listing are accurate. Cons - poor communication with host (check in process was not smooth, never received lock box code to access keys, and could not reach host; also host never checked in at all during rest of stay); the house is next to a busy road with steady traffic all night; shower water pressure was very low. Overall, we had a nice stay and if you are looking for a tiny house experience we would recommend.
