Lakefront Cottage

Absolutely a great location for time on the lake. View it wonderful. House was very clean and well maintained. This was our second time coming to this house and hopefully won’t be our last. The host is amazingly and very accommodating.

Beautiful views of the lake and mountains. We always enjoy our visit. We will be back again.

This was the perfect home on the lake for a longer weekend stay. My kids loved the kayaks & paddle boards & fishing! The kitchen had everything needed & the host was extremely responsive! Would definitely stay here again!

First the good: Nottely Lake is beautiful. During our stay the days were warm while mornings and nights were very pleasant. the home is in a beautiful setting on the lake, and the owner is very nice and tries to be accommodating. She was easy to work with. The nightly rate is also low, as low as you will find on the lake. The not so good: there really isn’t anyplace to put your stuff. The rooms are all pretty full, the closets are full, the drawers are full and the cupboards are full. Most of the horizontal surfaces also have decorations on them. If you are a minimalist traveler, you may like that, but we found it challenging. Next, we got several stings from yellow jackets. I alerted the owner when it first happened and she promised to call an exterminator. The pest control company came the following Monday, when we were not there. The owner said she was told they could not find any nests. That Friday, we got 4 more stings.
