Villa Rincon Bayahibe

Nice stay , clean , modern , comfortable.

We loved our long stay (49 days) at Villa Rincon. Liked it so much we are going to plan a second stay. The house was as advertised, modern and clean. The owners Miguel and Ivana were super helpful and communication was quick and easy. Miguel went out of his way to help us whenever we needed anything (helped us fill out our tourist card, helped us order water for delivery, etc). Location is good - 10 min walk to the Mya grocery store, lots of other small stores, and to the beach in Bayahibe. There are lots of restaurant choices as well within easy walking distance Perlita (steak was delicious), Onnos (tacos, fajitas ect), Lost Bar (pizza and Pasta) were some of the ones we tried and enjoyed. We like to cook so having a well equipped kitchen and a BBQ was a great bonus. The pool and outside sitting area is screened in so very few if any bugs. Walking out from the kitchen there is a covered patio area with a table so even if you get a little rain you can still sit outside. We had friends stay with us for 2 weeks and they also loved the place.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Rincon. It was modern and comfortable. A short walk takes you into Bayahibe and a little further beyond you could walk to the public beach in Bayahibe or Magellanas. We preferred Magellanas beach as it was considerably nicer nicer and quieter than the public one. You could also walk to another beach in Dominicus that was also very beautiful butit was a little further. You could also get a taxi for 10. Lots of great restaurants, boat trips with Sammy and just a really fun time. Taco night at Onno's on Tuesday was one of our ffavouritesthere. Don't miss the great gelato at the Heladaria.
