Beach cottage in Ocean Lakes

The small beach cottage is the perfect getaway for couples and small families. Convenient access to the gate and main road. Has a great outdoor cooking space and large deck for outside entertainment. Short walk to motorcycle and overflow parking. Each bedroom has it's own TV. Living room offers a full size pull out sleeper sofa. Keurig Duo provided allows guests to make coffee their preferred way either as a pot or individual K-cups. Fully furnished kitchen stocked with pots and pans and a full function range. Microwave and toaster oven are also available for meals on the go. Covered outdoor kitchen offers a Blackstone griddle and gas grill, as well as a large prep area and refrigerator/freezer for cooking in all weather. FULL "outdoor" bathroom with toilet and shower allows for washing up after the beach or use as a 2nd bathroom. Like most ground level homes on Ocean Lakes this is a camper with an addition. Master bedroom is a full enclosed bedroom with a Queen bed, bunk room is in the camper section and open to the kitchen area. This quiet section of Ocean Lakes has less traffic making it a great spot for bike riding or other kids activities or even going for daily walks. Make this your relaxation destination!

BOOKING INSTRUCTIONS! Please provided accurate guest numbers. Bed linens and towels are provided based upon occupancy. If beds are slept on without linens guest will be charged for replacement mattress pads. Linen fee is required for all stays..

Ocean Lakes requires $15 per vehicle per day registration fee for parking passes. Guests that pay in full 30 days prior to stay will get the option to prepay and receive and "Express Check-In" packet from Ocean Lakes with parking passes prior to arrival.

Checkout instructions must be followed to ensure no additional charges.

Reservations are non-transferable. Requesting to change/transfer a reservation is a cancellation of the current reservation. A 60-day notice is required for cancellations. No penalty will be incurred if cancellation is 60 days before your arrival. NO refund on cancellations, regardless of reason, including inclement weather, employment, family, illness, death, or economic factors, etc., if cancellation is within 30 days of your arrival date. Cancellation during your stay, or early departure, does not warrant any refund of rent. Rent and deposit will only be refunded in the event that Ocean Lakes is closed and or local or state government imposes a travel ban or mandatory evacuation. A cancellation of any Ocean Lakes sponsored event will not qualify for a refund.

1 queen bed, 1 Bunk bed (twin/full), 1 sleeper sofa (full). Unit will sleep 6 but if there are small children, 4-5 people max is more comfortable.

Golf Car-A golf car is provided with your rental. Please be advised that only licensed drivers, as well as being over the age of 25 are allowed to drive the golf car. Ocean Lakes will give you a ticket for the following:
-Underage driving, including a child sitting on your lap, or allowing a child to sit beside you and drive
-Driving without license on you
-Loud and vulgar music
-Failure to stop at posted stop signs
-Reckless driving
-Operation of cart outside of resort properties
Any violation of golf car policies will result in the immediate termination of your rental agreement and subsequent eviction. This is a no tolerance policy. We promise you that we will evict you for violating this.

-GOLF CART IS NOT A GUARANTEED AMENITY. Should cart be unavailable for any reason, no refund or rental cart shall be provided. This includes breakdowns or potential impounds by security. We will make every effort to have any potential issue resolved in a timely manner but golf cart is COMPLEMENTARY and therefore lack of use has ZERO monetary value

Please review rental agreement under "Rules and Policy." By booking through VRBO (or other online booking services) you automatically are accepting all rules and conditions.

GOLF CARTS:

ZERO Tolerance Policies: Golf Cars
A $100 Fine will be issued after ONE Warning for the Following:
1. Loud music in the campground.
2. “Cruising” after Quiet Hours (11 PM – 7 AM) with no legitimate destination.
We are not out to harass guests utilizing necessary facilities, such as the bathhouses or Soapy Suds, etc. We are targeting guests “cruising” around the campground, generally making noise or looking for trouble (coolers, bikes, alcohol, unlocked vehicles, etc.).
3. Open containers of alcohol anywhere but at your site – Please do not drink and drive!
We understand that our guests are on vacation and want to relax with family and friends and enjoy themselves. That may include an adult beverage and that is permitted at their site. However, open containers of alcohol are not permitted on vehicles (that includes golf cars) for it is against South Carolina state law. It is true, we are private property, and we choose to uphold the state laws.

A $100 Fine will be issued WITHOUT WARNING for the Following:
1. Underage driving: Driver MUST be at least 16 years of age with valid driver’s license in their possession. The Licensed Driver must be in control of the golf car at all times (hands on wheel, foot on pedals).
2. Reckless driving, horseplay, racing or other misuse of the golf car. Drivers must obey all traffic signs.
3. Taking rental golf cars off property – DO NOT go past the entry gates or onto the beach.
4. Lewd, vulgar, or offensive music in the campground – Remember young eyes and young ears!
