Very well stocked kitchen. Great home for large family vacation. Large living, dining and kitchen made gathering large group easy. Large bedrooms and comfortable beds. Very secluded spot which we really enjoyed. All around great home to rent!

We were celebrating a family get-together with 11 people ages 6 to 82. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The property is large, newly remodeled, and gorgeous. The large modern kitchen was well-equipped with high-quality cookware, professional gas cooktop, two new dishwashers, two drip coffeemakers plus a large urn-type coffee maker for parties. There were generous supplies of dishes, flatware, laundry, dish, and dishwasher detergent, and paper goods. The bathrooms had generous soap, shampoo, and paper goods. The master bedroom and bath were new and large. The other bedrooms were smaller and less lavish but comfortable. The view over the lake was beautiful with only a tiny glimpse or two of other civilization. The shallow and somewhat weedy lakewater in front didn't invite swimming, but the owner also has a nearby resort and welcomed us to use their beach and facilities. The owner was responsive and helpful, answering every question promptly. Great place!

My family had an amazing time staying at this cabin! The property was extremely clean and the rooms available were as advertised. Tom was very reponsive and clearly interested in making sure we had the best vacation possible.
The layout of the cabin was very good and the kitchen was the most well stocked kitchen I've ever seen at a rental cabin. The two dishwashers make it very easy to keep up with the dishes generated by 14 people.
The beach was sandy and great for swimming and the docks provided some amazing fishing for our group!
The photos of this property really don't do it justice and I would highly recommend it!

This is a large, comfortable house on a beautiful, quiet bay of Lake Vermilion across which loon calls echo in the evening. The house is managed as part of the White Eagle Resort—though the resort itself is 15 minutes away by boat or car. The importance of being part of the resort includes that the superb resort staff and management are available—usually instantly by text—to answer blueberry and hiking questions and to provide an above-and-beyond response to a special request. Thank you, Tom, Owen, Andrew and Timber! The connection also meant that adding a first-class boat to the week was especially straightforward. We did most meals in the large and well appointed kitchen, though we took the boat out each evening for happy hour, to a MN DNR water-accessible lunch spot for a picnic lunch and to The Landing for an excellent dinner.
