About this apartment rental
This is a private studio. The space was originally built as a game room for my father's hunting trophies, to watch sports and play pool. It has slowly converted into a private studio for guests to stay. This property is very private, it's .5 miles off the main road. Surrounded by farm land with cows, horses, and a small Vinyard.
The studio is above the garage off of the main house. Private entry. The space is an open floor plan with a queen bed, kitchenette, bathroom, pool table, small closet area to hang cloths, and a couch area with a TV & Wifi. Washer and dryer down stairs in the garage. This space sleeps 2, but can sleep 4 apon request. We have a queen blow up mattress that can fit in the couch area.
The house is 5 miles to the freeway, and 5.1 miles from down town Oregon city. Down town Oregon city is lively with, food carts, a wine bar, restaurants and bars, live music in the summers on Fridays and Saturdays. Also very close to the Willamette River, where there are parks and places to rent paddle boards, and kayaks.

Everything was "on point". Easy in/out, great location for our needs, beautiful environment to stay at. We will be staying again on our next family visit.

My wife and I were lucky enough to be the first to stay at Shay’s place. We were awe struck by this spacious studio loft with great views on all sides. The property was picturesque with horses, cows, and vineyards all around with good views of tree covered hills in the distance. The loft was comfortable and had all of the little things that made it feel like home. Some may be put off by the taxidermy, but we were impressed and had fun FaceTiming family to show off the array of animals. Oregon City has an upscale country feel and is only about 30 mins from Portland and Multnomah falls. We were able to go into the city for nice meals but still had access to things in Oregon City. Needless to say we appreciated the quaint retreat after the countercultural experience in the city. Shay was very responsive, gave great restaurant recommendations, and was nice enough to gift us with a bottle of white wine from their vineyard. We particularly appreciated her flexibility with the reservation when we had car trouble and did not arrive on time. We highly recommend staying here. Don’t be deterred by any security deposit as Shay mentioned she is working through the settings on her new VRBO listing.
