Getting Around:
Very nice quiet neighborhood. You can walk or drive around the Lake Hollingsworth, walk around Florida Southern College, Lake Morton or downtown Lakeland.

We had a wonderful stay and found the house perfect for a Florida Southern College graduation. It is less than a mile from both campus and the ceremony site, so very convenient. Many guests walked, which was a big plus.We were 13 people, spanning three generations, including a guest managing a serious illness. The accessible downstairs bedroom and walk-in showers made a real difference for our older and less mobile guests. The kitchen appliances were great, and we especially loved finding a steamer. It came in handy for robes, stoles and dress attire. Small touches like that really matter.We were under the home’s max capacity and while most things went well, there were a few gaps. No sheets for the pull-out beds and not enough towels or washcloths. The upstairs bedroom had a bug issue. With two kitchens, only eight coffee and tea cups felt tight. The deck and yard had debris and were unusable, which was a shame. We also noticed the front steps and half floor staircase upstairs had no handrails, and the bricks were loose, which was tough for older guests.The hosts were responsive and delivered the missing sheets and extra cups before everyone arrived, which we truly appreciated. I would encourage them to stock fully, clear the yard, and add handrails for future stays.The positives far outweighed the drawbacks. We had a great time. This is a wonderful space and with a few small improvements, it would be a seamless experience.

Our trip was a last minute booking, for a funeral with friends and family. We had 4 different families staying and everyone was pleased with the home. Plenty of room, clean, with comfortable beds. We will definitely be booking again, when visiting with family.
