AMENITIES: The Ferringway Townhomes offer a shared hot tub and heated swimming pool for guest use. The pool deck has plenty of room for lounging. There is easy access to City Open Space hiking and mountain biking trails behind this property. THE POOL IS OPEN APPX MEMORIAL WEEKEND TO END OF SEPTEMBER; HOT TUB IS OPEN YEAR-ROUND.
LOCATION: Ferringway is just a 5-minuts drive to historic downtown Durango and the Durango Train, plus restaurants, shops and entertainment. Driving about 30 minutes to the north takes you to Purgatory Ski Resort and the high San Juan Mountains. Mesa Verde National Park, a noted World Heritage Site, is about a 40-minute drive to the West. Hillcrest Golf Club is a five-minute drive from this condo, as is the main campus of Fort Lewis College. This unit was perfect for our 3-night stay in Durango with our 30 yo daughter. Parking is very convenient and always had plenty of spaces available. Upon entering, I could gell the unit was very clean and orderly. Very nice-sized bedrooms and we each had our own space and bathroom. Loved having the in-unit laundry since we just came from 4 nights in Moab. Kitchen was perfectly organized (loved the labels) and impressively stocked! This owner has thought of everything you may need - down to extra pillows in the closets, luggage stands, and even a cozy throw in the living room. Entrance was easy with the 4-digit pin pad. Owner responded quickly via text with questions. Even allowed us to check-out 45 min later which was super convenient. Went to the pool/hot tub once, but it didn't appear to be open or cleaned yet, but still enjoyed relaxing in the sun after a busy day. Was told it opens on Memorial Day. Clubhouse was also not open yet so can't speak to thise facilities. The unit is super convenient to the downtown (less than 5 min drive), Wal-Mart is 3 miles away, and gas station is less than 1 mile away. Thank you for the fabulous stay in your lovely home.

This unit worked well for us and we had a good stay! It was clean, the kitchen was well equipped, the beds were comfortable and we liked the one-floor layout. The unit was up a single flight a stairs and fairly convenient to the parking lot - way more manageable than most units in this complex that are up multiple flights of stairs. One drawback is that there is not much of a view - windows open to other units in the complex or staircases.
