About this apartment rental
This lovely spacious 2 bed/2 bath condo is in Palmetto Cove, a newer, gated and luxurious condo community. Our unit is fully furnished including full kitchen with granite countertops. Also included are bedding, towels, dishes, coffee maker, and internet. The unit is on the second floor and features 10 foot high ceilings and crown molding. The lanai is a wonderful place to have your morning coffee—it overlooks a nature preserve (very private and relaxing). The master bedroom has a king bed and a 55" smart TV. The second bedroom has a Murphy queen bed. It can also be used as an office. The amenities of Palmetto Cove are wonderful!--beautiful pool, spa, state-of-the-art fitness center, and a clubhouse with a multi-purpose room, library, and a catering kitchen. The pool is close to our unit—just across the street. Additional fees include a $150.00 application fee, a $125.00 cleaning fee, background check of $55.00 per adult, and tax of 11.5%. Sorry, no smoking and no pets are allowed. Please note: the Palmetto Cove Home Owners Association requires their board to approve all renters. Note: this could take 5 to 10 days.
This unit is in one the best locations in Southwest Florida. You are just 15 minutes to Fort Myers Beach, Bunche Beach, and Sanibel Island. These beaches are know for excellent shelling, sunbathing, bicycling, kayaking, fishing, boating, music, and great restaurants. Sanibel Island also features the J. Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge. You can drive or take a tour around it and possibly sea dolphins, alligators, and other wildlife. Other things to do: tour the Ford & Edison Winter Estates and the Shell Factory, go deep sea fishing, visit Manatee Park. You are also close to golf courses, shopping, beautiful Lakes Park with bike and paddle-boat rentals, playground, picnic pavilions, and trails. Both the Minnesota Twins and the Boston Red Sox have there spring training here—about 15 minutes from our condo. You are also near the River District of downtown Fort Myers offering great entertainment and dining. The Southwest Regional Airport is just 20 minutes away. Health Park Medical Center is just 4 miles away. Naples and Marco Island are less than an hour away. You can plan trips to Miami, Tampa, Disney World, the Kennedy Space Center, the Everglades, Key West, and more.

We enjoyed our stay! This condo is tucked away in a gated community that is quiet and relaxing. The condo is very spacious and luxurious. Everything is a just short drive away! Jane and Lynn are wonderful and very helpful with anything you need during your stay! I would highly recommend this condo!
