About this house rental

Our house is nestled up in the hills of Copperopolis and overlooks beautiful Lake Tulloch and Calaveras County. The location provides a central location for adventures, to Yosemite, Bear Valley, Jamestown, Murphys, and much more. Our spacious home is perfect for families, and we can accommodate 6 adults and 2 children with ease. There is a spacious kitchen, large living room with plenty of couch space. There is an outdoor wood-burning fire pit for nightly s'mores. This place is perfect for family getaway any time of year.

*Due to HOA policies changes, the Kiva no longer allows us to issue guest passes for short term renters. We can provide options for lake access upon inquiry.

Me and a few friends stayed here as a pre-golf teip stay before our stay and play at Copper Valley Golf course. We've stayed other places before usually in Angel's Camp, but this was a lot closer and justvtje rightns

We stayed here due to proximity to our families home up there. The house is roomy, the yards are fully fenced and it’s very clean. Steep driveway so it was nice that we were able to park in the garage. My children (ages 10 and 12) instructed me to give five stars Would stay again.

Comfortable house, great view/outside area, clean, tidy, uncluttered, lots of beds, good cooking equipment/double oven, beautiful area, five guys, average age 80. Prius overheated trying to back up problematic 30 degree driveway. Had to leave it halfway up. Driveway is a scary challenge for the inexperienced.

The house was great! Very clean and well decorated. The beds were very comfy and overall it felt very homey. We had slight issues figuring out the water dispenser, but that was more operator error. The living room couch was amazing and we spent most of our time socializing in that room. The views were great and the outdoor seating was adorable. Only small issue was the neighbors dog barks a lot.

It's the little things I appreciate! Lauren answered my questions quickly and communicated well. It was a hot weekend and she let me know the AC was turned on for us. I typically do all my prep work at home or bring my own knives because they are always so dull they barely cut bread. The knives in the kitchen were the best I've experienced in a rental. The house was clean and in a great location for our needs. We had a great weekend and wouldn't hesitate to return if staying in the area again. Thank you!

Staying at this beautiful lakeview property was well worth the stay! It was the cleanest VRBO we have ever stayed at to date. The best part, it was cheaper than a 5 Star Hotel! Other family members that stayed at a hotel were very envious and requested the address for their future stays.

Great experience at this house. We had to cancel our stay last minute due to a stomach bug and Lauren was responsive and helpful to do what she could despite us being outside the cancellation period. So glad we could book another weekend to enjoy the house and the surroundings. It was a great set up for our family, with each of our kids enjoying their own room. We used the grill, ate dinner out front with lake views and appreciated being able to pull the car into the garage. Thoughtful treats were left for the kids. The house was well-stocked with plenty of towels, incl. beach towels, some basic pantry items and cooking utensils etc. We had fun renting a boat at nearby Lake New Melones one day and stopped at Splash n'dash lake waterpark on the way back to the city. Nice to have a Supercharger in town as well. Would definitely recommend this host and house.

We had a seamless and comfortable stay. Everything in the house was clean and well kept. The house had all the features you could ask for, including a nice view. The hosts provided clear and helpful instructions and were honest to do business with.

The checking process was easy. The home was great and we loved the activities provided by the host. The nest furnace at was finicky. The kitchen was warm while cooking dinner, using the stove top and oven. The location of the home was close to the lake and it made accessing the water easy.

We enjoyed our stay in your lovely home, we lived in copper just a couple of blocks away from this home for over 20 years before moving to Tennessee. We were on a month long road trip to Oregon coast and California. The home was well stocked and very comfortable and best of all we were able to bring our puppy dog along with us. 8 of us gathered in Copperopolis at this beautiful home. Situated in a neighborhood overlooking the historic gold mining town, and Tulloch Reservoir, we traveled from Washington State, Washington DC, Idaho, and far northern California, to interre our mother's ashes, celebrate 2 birthdays, and a 40th wedding anniversary. This place was ideal for our plans. The home had everything, including outdoor fireplace, and barbecue. There were plenty of bedrooms with the most comfortable beds I've slept on, flat screen televisions in most of them, 2 full bathrooms, a great room, with gas fireplace, large flat screen television, oversized sofa, and love seat, plus 2 bar stools at the island of the fully equipped kitchen that included a gas stove, microwave, drip coffee maker, dishwasher, and side by side refrigerator. A dining room had ample room for eating meals, or playing card or board games. The front and back yards were both fenced, which made it great for our pup, Diamond, who travels with us as both a pet, and our Emotional Support animal. The neighbors on either side have dogs so she fit right in. This home is centrally located, with easy access to Angels Camp, Murphys, and Lake Alpine to the northeast, and Knights Ferry, Sonora, and Yosemite southeast of Copperopolis.The owners have created a wonderful, welcoming place to stay! It out shines a motel hands down!!!!

Great getaway for my golf foursome! Clean, easy access, and great communication with the owner. No issues whatsoever and well stocked with all the cooking and other kitchen necessities. It was over 100° and the AC kept us cool the whole time. We also used the propane grill and sat outside on the patio set. A+ house and host!

We had a wonderful stay at Lauren and Beth's beautiful home. It is situated in a quiet neighborhood and boasts beautiful views of the mountains and lake. Their home was clean and had all of the amenities we needed. They had turned on the air conditioner prior to our arrival so the home was nice and cool when we arrived. They had set out color books and crayons for our littles, such a thoughtful gesture. We look forward to staying here again.

Neighbors have vicious dogs in the patio that were ready for attack, very loud neighbors, not a clean place, extremely over priced for the value of the home. Washer and dryer don’t work barely, cheap furniture. Cheap mattress! My back is killing me. I am In tons of pain. The view is pretty if I could get out, I felt like a prisoner with the neighbors dogs.

Our family with small children rented this place for 4th of July weekend. It was close enough to the water yet far enough to have a beautiful view of the lake (and the stars at night!). We loved that there were coloring books left out for the kids, boardgames, kids plates and cups. It was helpful to have laundry detergent Already there as well as towels! Very well stocked! We would definitely rent again! Thanks Lauren and Beth!

My family and I were very pleased with this property. Everything was clean, smelled fresh, & felt like home. The owners thought of everything- including turning on the AC prior to our arrival. Our kids- in all age ranges- kept busy & were entertained. We were about 35 mins from the Lake Tulloch boat rental, but regardless- We will definitely be staying there again!

We had a wonderful stay. The house is beautiful - huge with plenty of room for friends/family to join in on your vacation and the perfect place for pets too. We appreciated the fenced in yard and dog treats. There is even a dog crate if needed. The house has great views of the lake from the front yard and is a short drive to several lakes in the area. House was clean and Lauren was very communicative throughout our stay. She was very quick to respond if we had any questions which we appreciated so much. Would stay again for sure!

Our family had a wonderful stay. The home is gorgeous and the perfect spot to enjoy some time away. It was close enough for a quick trip to Yosemite, but the local hiking was just as beautiful. Lots of fun things to do within 30 mins drive.
