About this house rental
Welcome to Jolene’s Place. This stylish 1100sqft 2 bedroom, 1 bath home has been recently updated and provides all the comforts of home. Located just on the edge of the Daniel Boone National Forest, Jolene's is just a short drive to many of the local areas and attractions like Laurel Lake, Cumberland Falls, London, and Corbin. The home sleeps 6 guests with 2 queen beds and a queen highrise air mattress in the living room. The driveway offers plenty of room for boat parking as well.
The Stay:
This is an older cottage style 2 bedroom, 1 bath home on just under an acre. The interior has been recently updated and features laminate wood flooring throughout. This is an open floor plan with the living room, kitchen, and dining areas all together. Most of the furniture in the home was bought in fall 2021 along with mattresses and all linens.
Living room features: 2 leather sofas, end tables, coffee table, accent chair, fireplace hearth, 50" smart Roku TV, coat and shoe rack
Kitchen and Dining Area features: lots of cabinets and counter space, Stainless steel Kenmore Elite appliances, most common small appliances (crockpot, blender, hand mixer) and utensils, coffee bar, complimentary spices, seating for 6 at the bar height table with 2 additional bar stools.
Bedroom 1: Queen size bed with 2 side tables, queen memory foam mattress, alarm clock, bedside hanging lamps, 3 drawer chest, closet with hangers and shelves, oscillating fan and 32" Smart TV.
Bedroom 2: Queen size bed with side table, queen memory foam mattress, alarm clock, bedside lamp and table with USB ports inside, chest of drawers, closet with hangers and shelves, oscillating fan and 32" TV with firestick, games in top of closet.
Bathroom: Standard size shower, wall and hand held sprayer, complimentary toiletries, towels, hair dryer, curling iron, ceiling exhaust fan and heater
Laundry room: Top load washer and dryer, complimentary laundry soaps, folding laundry basket, decorative salt lamp, bench at back door for shoes, access to the patio.
Covered Patio: 3 rolling shades, Kentucky shaped bench, glass top table and folding chairs; sitting area with rug 2 chairs, couch, table, and propane firepit table.
Backyard has a fenced in area for hanging out or letting the kids play.
There is plenty of parking for vehicles with a turn around spot and additional gravel parking for boats and trailers

MY HUSBAND AND I REALLY HAD A WONDERFUL TIME. THE PLACE WAS SO CLEAN, THAT IS SOMETHING THAT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO ME. THE HOUSE WAS SMALL BUT LAID OUT NICELY. CHECK IN WAS SO EASY. THE BACK DECK WAS SO PEACEFUL EVEN THOUGH THERE WERE OTHER HOUSE AROUND WE REALLY DID NOT NOTICE THEM. EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT FOR US AND WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN.
