About this house rental
Our beautiful log home provides a romantic, quiet mountain getaway experience. A spacious first floor bedroom with queen size log bed and upstairs loft room with queen size bed provide comfortable, private sleeping arrangements for two couples, or a small family of four. A darling country kitchen provides everything you’ll need including a dishwasher. Relax by the beautiful stone fireplace in the living room or enjoy the tv in the snug while watching deer play just outside the tall windows. After a day of hiking, biking, or rafting in nearby Ohiopyle you can enjoy an evening dining on the back deck, searing some steaks on the charcoal grill (summer months), or unwinding in the hot tub if the weather permits. We also provide a washer and dryer for your laundry needs. In floor radiant heat will keep your toes warm during winter months while central air conditioning keeps the home cool and comfortable in the summer. We are located just minutes from Fallingwater, Kentuck Knob, Ohiopyle State Park, Nemacolin Woodlands, Lady Luck Casino, Fort Necessity, Laurel Caverns, and the Jumonville Cross. Our mobile massage therapist is available for in house massage services by pre scheduled appointment. Please inquire for details.

We had a lovely stay at Cooley’s Cottage. The home was clean, organized, and cozy. We enjoyed sitting in the hot tub while snow fell. The hosts are very responsive and kind. We’re looking forward to booking another visit during a different season so we can explore the local attractions.

This was the girls weekend that we dreamed about for years. The coziness of the living room was what really sold the whole cabin for us and it surpassed expectations. We have intentions on coming back every year until we are too old to be able to step into the hot tub, and even then we will still be coming back. Thank you for making this a home away from home for a group of old friends.

The hosts were very helpful. The house was so clean and perfect. We loved the hot tub while watching the snow fall. The bonus TV room was nice and comfortable - especially liked the Christmas tree. Thank you Luann and Kevin!
