Phenomenal Private Downtown Condo on 2nd Ave!

Beautiful place. So clean and close to everything. Host was amazing and lovely to work with. I am looking forward to staying there in the future.

Great place close to Broadway. Having the pool table was fun as well. The host was very responsive. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends.

Loved our stay! Very comfortable and great location. Walkable to everything. Only complaint is the alley way was really loud at night with party buses etc.

There were multiple communication issues with the owner and myself. I'm not sure if that was the fault of VRBO blocking phone numbers from showing up in e-mail communications or just a lack of availability on the owner's part. But as soon as we arrived we found out that parking was not included in our pricey rental fee. So we had to park one block down in a public lot for an additional $35 per 24 hours as there was no street parking. From this point on we seemed to be in constant communication with the owner for various items that should have been included that were not. There wasn't sufficient toilet paper (1 partial roll per bathroom) so we had to ask the owner to supply additional toilet paper. There wasn't any dish soap in the kitchen or hand soap in any of the bathrooms. (Some of us thought shampoo and conditioner and bath soap should have been included.) In the review of the condo it states that an iron and ironing board are included. There was an ironing board but not an iron. So again we needed to contact the owner to ask her to supply an iron. The shower head leaked profusely in the master bathroom and no matter how I tried to tighten the connection it continued to spray out from the pipe in addition to the shower head causing a wet mess on the floor around the bathroom. The linens on the beds were cheap and scratchy and the pillows were cheap polyester. Again, spending "four figures" a night, I expected down pillows or high end synthetic pillows. Additionally it seemed as the mattresses were encased in a waterproof cover making the bed hot and uncomfortable. One last caution: While the condo is said to sleep 8, any additional over 4, you will be charged an extra fee. Not sure why, but it kicked up our "three figure" fee to "four figures" once cleaning fees, and service fees and the damage insurance was purchased (you do have the option of a cash/credit card deposit the size of a couple mortgage payments). So before you commit to this condo, make sure you are aware of all the fees included. We were organizing 5 ladies on short notice, so didn't have the luxury of spending too much time shopping around. The bottom line is for what this condo cost to rent for one night we could have stayed in the presidential suite at a Four Seasons, and gotten all the amenities included.
