One of THE BEST overnight stays ever! The home is precious, with thoughtful details throughout, well maintained and incredibly clean. The beds and pillows were so comfy and the neighborhood is quiet … hope we come to Roanoke again soon!

Such a lovely place. Everything was just wonderful. Easy to find, beautiful neighborhood and well-kept yard private yard with outdoor patio. House is charming, clean, a filled with light. It was just the perfect overnight stay for us. So nice to have off-street parking. Always a bonus. Kitchen and bathroom stocked with extra touches to make us feel pampered. Excellent in every way!

Pros: reasonable rates, comfy sofas, plenty of TVs and Rokus, fluffy/soft towels, convenient location, string lights on patio a nice touch.Cons: in desperate need of blackout blinds (between this and the incredibly loud landscaping the first morning, never did get a decent night’s sleep). Upstairs bedroom was the darkest option (speaking of, the overhead light didn’t work), but one side of the mattress had a sizable depression that made it a no-go for us. Could only get scalding hot water in the shower or icy cold, no middle ground at all (had to opt for cold). Bathroom doorknob repeatedly came off, even trapping me in the bathroom for an extended period of time as I struggled to get the knob back on and the door open. Second stair to basement also seems on verge of breaking, so use with caution. Host did not send instructions on how to access the house (however, she did respond quickly when prompted).
