About this cottage rental
If you are looking for an authentic Wrightsville Beach experience, this is your place! Our family has owned this 1890 single family house since at least 1913. It still feels like an old fashioned cottage but has been updated to add WIFI and to provide year round comfort with central cooling and heating. We have four bedrooms and three baths plus a pullout sofa in one of the two living rooms. This place oozes with charm. Just sitting out on one of the two porches will bring you an amazing sense of serenity. We have generally rented only to friends but decided to expand to VRBO to let more people get a feel of old Wrightsville Beach with modern comforts. Our cottage is very close to Trailborne ( formerly known as the Blockade Runner) so water sports rentals are super easy. You can walk to the center of town and visit the Trolley Stop for a hot dog or Kohls for an ice cream cone or the Workshop for coffee. Go another block and buy your groceries at Robert's. Just thinking of those special places makes me smile. Wrightsville Beach is a special place and staying in our family's cottage will make your Wrightsville Beach experience even more incredible. We had a wonderful stay in this charming home. We enjoyed the porches and the beautiful view of the ocean. The location was great - within walking distance of coffee shops and restaurants. Inside was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Would stay here again and highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Wrightsville Beach.

We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful beach home! It was a treat to be so close to the water, and the home was lovely. The host was very responsive when we had a question during our stay. Highly recommend!

My family and I had a wonderful stay and hope to stay again next summer! The location of the home is amazing, the porch was great, and there was ample room for all of us! The check-in process was easy and Mary was very responsive. I would highly recommend this rental home!
