About this house rental
Bring the whole family to this very spacious kid and pet-friendly home on the west side of Colorado Springs. Bonus this house has an amazing entertaining backyard complete with a hot tub and game shed! Close to downtown, Old Colorado City, and Manitou Springs, there is plenty of local shopping and eating close by. Planning a trip to the mountains or a day trip? This home has easy access to Highway 24 and I-25, and is a short drive to Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, and Cheyenne Canyon.

It was a Haven in the Forest indeed. The chalet was lovely and comfortable much as pictured - but better in person. There were a few extra outdoor chairs and games not mentioned including acorn hole and couple comfy wicker outdoor chairs by the propane fire table. There is just enough yard space to enjoy a game - or use the ample parking and driveway area. There were some toiletries provided (thank you!) - not a lot of leftover kitchen supplies like some vaca rentals have (coffee to spices, and ketchup etc) - all good - just a note for your grocery list. Communication with Drew was quick and attentive. We stayed during a USAFA graduation and enjoyed convenient easy travel to the Academy during a busy week - and enjoyed getting away from the hub bub too. All in all it was a wonderful stay!

This house was absolutely perfect for our family get together. Owner was excellent with communication, check in was a breeze, and the house was better than advertised.The location was perfect! And close to everything. The back yard is such a beautiful oasis! We spent so much time on the patio. It was perfect for the six of us. The house was clean, and every detail had been thought of, it was the best stay! We will be back.
