Welcome to Lazy Bear Lodge! The crisp mountain air sweeps through the surrounding tall ponderosa and sugar pine trees, sending a fragrance of fresh forest through the cabin. The cool, fresh air is your invitation from the mountains to unwind or explore.
Centrally located and easily accessible, this is a picture-perfect Big Bear mountain cabin. Newly built in November 2019, with 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, large open spaces, and cozy fireplaces, Winterpark Pines will impress family and friends.
While the family cooks whip up excellent meals in the all-new chef's kitchen, kids can play pool on the new 7' pool table or watch movies on the Smart TVs. There's even a garage game room with a shuffleboard, a poker table, and ping pong. You'll also find a pool table and arcade game in the den.
Outside, Lazy Bear Lodge boasts new landscaping throughout the front and back yards. There's a luxurious hot tub outside, along with horseshoes, cornhole, a firepit, and comfortable outdoor seating.
Located in the heart of Big Bear, all attractions, restaurants, stores, and nightlife are easy to access. You'll be just a two-minute walk from the ski resort shuttle, a mile or two to the marinas and hiking trails, and in the heart of a walkable, tree-lined neighborhood. Brand new and pristine, all beds, decor, and furniture are new and updated!
Only about 100 miles northeast of Los Angeles, Big Bear Lake is a beautiful and convenient break from the hustle and bustle of the city. This nature lover’s paradise provides endless year-round activities. In the winter, Big Bear Lake offers skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, and tubing. In the summer, visitors love to play water sports, horseback rides, golf, hike, and mountain bike. Head to Big Bear when you need a healthy dose of fresh air, exercise, and rejuvenation.

- Use of outdoor activities is prohibited from 10 pm - 7 am.
- No amplified sound is permitted outside at any time. Indoor sound cannot be loud enough to be audible at the property line.
- Winter weather warning- From November through March, all vehicles are required to carry chains in their vehicle.
- Please note our occupancy includes an additional two beyond bed count. Trifold floor mattresses and additional linens can be provided upon request.
- Guests are responsible for disposing of trash at the local dumpsite in accordance with the City of Big Bear policy. Charges may apply if left on the property.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.
As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.
Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.
There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.
As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

A few of my family friends and our little ones stayed at this home, and it was comfortable, roomy, and most importantly it was clean. Everything that we needed to work worked perfectly including the fire place, hot water, fridge, grill and stove. The kitchen was equipped, which was very helpful in making our stay feel like a home away from home. There was a pool table, a large dinner table and overall a lot of fun space for the kids to play. They didn’t want to leave the cabin! The location of the cabin is also ideal. Close enough to the town, but far enough to get nice and quiet at night time. Communicating with our property manager was very easy and quick as well as the check in and check out process. If we ever make it back to Big Bear Mountain, we will definitely want to stay at this place again. Such a positive experience!

Home is beautiful and in a great location! Very close to lake and slopes. Unfortunately it had not yet snowed so very few slopes opened with man made snow. The home is very open and spacious. The home kept us very entertained with many activities; there was a ping pong table, pool table, shuffle board, corn hole game and poker table. Outside a hot tub, horse shoe game and gas fire pit we enjoyed every night. Master bedroom does not have a closet only a dresser and some shelves in master bath. Most bedrooms did not include any hangers to hang clothes. One bedroom included only three hangers. This was very inconvenient as we had lots of coats and jackets with nowhere to hang them. For the amount of money you pay to rent the house this truly was not acceptable. Heater seemed to be on an automatic setting or timer causing it to often turn off and you’d feel the cold. I
