About this cabin rental
The Homestead Cabin is a three-bedroom cabin, with all the amenities of home. This cabin sleeps 10 guests and has 7 beds. The main bedroom is on the first floor with a queen size bed. Upstairs are two large bedrooms, each with a full and two twin beds.
The beautiful wrap around porch is the perfect spot to enjoy watching our horses frolic in the pastures, looking for a screen in area, enjoy the large back porch where you can enjoy the view of Otter Creek as you listen to the water flowing. Exit the screen porch directly to your large firepit area with built in benches and enjoy a warm campfire at night.
On a hot summer day, take a walk and enjoy a swim in your back yard or walk up to our swimming hole which has waterfalls and a dock for easy access.
Take a short walk down the driveway where you will see our main Ranch home and beautiful horse pastures, here you will see our friendly horses Derek and Daisy. They love visitors and are sure to greet you at their fence for some petting. If you need more space, interested in a large group vacation or a family reunion, we can accommodate you!
One mile down the road is our sister property Fish Camp Village. The gated entrance leads you to our tiny village with two more rental cabins also on the banks of Otter Creek. This village has many small roads for riding bicycles, walking, or driving your ATV through. Visit our unique screen houses on this property, enjoy a cookout, morning coffee, evening cocktail and watch the Beavers making dams in the creek.
You can enjoy your morning coffee on your screened in porch, at your private firepit or take a short walk to a beautiful screen house that sits on a hill with a picturesque view of Otter Creek. If you follow the walking roads to the end of the property, we have a large screen porch with a vast view of what nature offers in the Adirondack Park. This screenhouse is set up for you to grill a meal, enjoy a campfire or just sit and take in the moment.
There are canoes and kayaks you can launch and paddle around in Otter Creek.

The property was really great. Extremely clean and big enough for 6 men to use as a hunting cabin with all the gear that's involved. Right on the river with exceptional views. I can see this being a great spring/summer destination with the proximity to many trails. The only downside was the spotty Wi-Fi reception that made it difficult to call and also to watch TV at the end of a long day in the woods. This is definitely a place we would go back to.

Our family had a great time at the Ranch! We went swimming in the creek on the property, met the horses, and enjoyed hiking directly from the ranch. The cabin was a great place to gather and had a lot of fun family activities (games, fire pit, etc). It was very clean, had all the cooking supplies needed, and the hosts were very accommodating and welcoming. Definitely recommend!
