Nice house on the canal with a short boat ride out to enjoy the water. Pool and hat tub was nice to relax in after a day on the boat

Good communication and follow through with property management. Basic kitchen furnishings.. had to purchase teaspoons, plastic glasses to be used around pool ( not disposable glasses) and cookie sheets. Bought our own broom and dustpan. Left all for future renters. Did request wet jet which was provided.

General cleanliness was OK at first glance. Found crumbs of food and stuck on food on dishes and silverware put away in the cabinets. A basket of rolled up beach towels is provided for your use, however, we found them all damp and smelling of mold. We laundered all of these ourselves. Cleanliness of the pool deck could be improved, it needs to be pressure washed. The dock has no cleats or bumpers for tying up your boat, there are two PVC poles attached to the wood pilings held on with tie straps. This was the only accommodation towards boat docking. There is no fish cleaning table. The pool heater was extremely noisy as previously noted in a review from January. We fixed this ourselves by putting insulators on the fan grate. There was an electrical wiring problem, which the management responded to promptly and sent out an electrician. The hose at the dock for spraying off your boat had a hole in it, and no spray end, management also replaced this for us a couple of days after I reported it. We wanted to use the grill on our first night, but found there was no gas tank for the grill. The tank for the fire pit, was empty. This was remedied by management. Overall, the house was very nice and has potential to be great, but could really use a deep cleaning and attention to some details.
