HENDO HIDEAWAY

Quaint, rustic feel; and very quiet area. Convenient to all the places we wanted to visit.Word of caution for senior citizens as the walkway & access isn't smooth. Nice overall stay.

The house was very spacious, and the inside was clean...the outside deck needs repair and repainting; no air conditioner in main living area

Good location with easy access to Hendersonville, Flat Rock, and DuPont State Forest. The house was clean and well-appointed. The only air conditioning is two window units in the bedrooms.

The property was clean and comfortable. However it's located on a hill which requires a climb up from the driveway then over some rough rocks to get into the home. For two senior women it was somewhat of a challenge. There's a stream near the house which is pretty. The lawn and gardens around the house are well tended.The fridge had a water filter and ice maker--neither of which worked. This necessitated buying a bag of ice which had to be taken up the hill. The coffee maker also needs to be cleaned. I've stayed in many VRBO properties here and abroad. This is the first one that requested we strip the beds and start a load laundry of sheets and towels before leaving. Normally leave towels in the bathroom, take out trash and run the dishwasher. Wish I had known about the uphill climb. Not recommended for seniors with any balance issues.
