About this house rental
Come visit this updated modern cape style oceanfront house located in North Kingstown Rhode Island! Only a 15 minute ride to Newport, 10 minute ride to Narragansett and 5 minute ride to Wickford. Great for a friends getaway weekend or a multiple family vacation. Easy access to water sports, parks, beaches, restaurants and nightlife!
The house features 4 bedrooms, 2 Full baths, 2 half baths and multiple living spaces on the first floor. Makes it easy to spread out and enjoy the water views!
The space

Main Floor:
Modern cape style house that was updated and expanded over the years. Around 2200 sq ft but has an additional 600-700sq ft over 4 porches which makes the house feel even bigger! The house features effectively two wings each with a staircase on either side of the house (inside) from the first floor. The main floor has an open living space…large sectional couch/coffee table, a 65 inch Samsung smart tv, a modern widescreen fireplace, an 8 person dining room and even a cozy coffee/reading nook that looks out at the ocean (Our favorite spot in the house:). A half bath/vanity sits just off the main living space as well.
The kitchen looks out into the living space and also acts as a pass through to the second living room on the right side of the house. Nice separation of space for larger group and/or kids/adult space. We have another large couch, coffee table, 55 inch Samsung smart tv and access to the back porch as well as the side porch (lots of porches:). The side porch features a very peaceful and quiet sitting area that looks out at the ocean.
Second Floor/Third Floor:
The right side of the house also features a second floor bedroom with a king bed and it’s own private enclosed porch that faces the ocean. 50 in smart tv (Netflix/Hulu/YouTube/cable and also a brand new renovated full bathroom/shower.
There is also a staircase the leads up to the third floor which is its own private room with a queen bed, half bath/vanity, AC and a desk that looks out at the ocean. Great space for kids/guests to stay with the adults in the room below on the second floor (Only room without a tv:).
The left wing of the house has stairs that lead up to another ocean-facing king bedroom along with a daybed twin. 43 inch smart tv with access to (Netflix/Hulu/YouTube etc).
Across from the king bedroom is a guest bedroom that has a twin daybed with a pullout twin trundle underneath. Again great for adults to sleep in the King room and guests/kids can sleep in the other. This guest room also features access to the upstairs back enclosed porch. The porch provides access to the other wing of the house upstairs. It’s a unique quirk of the house where you can easily access both sides of the house on the first floor but the second floor wings you need to walk through the 3 season porch.
Also on the second floor between the king bedroom and the twin bedroom is another full bathroom. Double vanity, a toilet and a shower that faces the front of the house.
All together there are 4 bedrooms in total. 3 on the second floor and 1 on the third. The house can comfortably sleep 8 to 9 people and closer to 10/11 with couches if needed.
Other things to note
The house features high speed WIFI for remote working, washer/dryer in the basement, Modern Electric fireplace in the main living room. 4 Mitsubishi air conditioning units throughout the house that also heat as well. Two Standup paddle boards and an outdoor shower to clean up after a long day at the beach.
Beaches:
• You can hop in a kayak right out the front door!
• Ed’s Beach…Beach access 100 yards away at the end of our street.
• North Kingstown Town Beach: 4 min ride ~1.7 miles away
• Mackeral Cove Beach Jamestown Ri: 10 min ride 7 ~ 7 miles away
• Scarborough Beach Narragansett: 20 min ride ~ 14 miles away
Restaurants:
• Plum Point Bistro: delicious American food with a great bar ~ 5 min away
• Wickford on the water: American/Seafood…outdoor seating on a deck overlooking the ocean ~ 5 min away
• Shaynas Place: Amazing sandwich shop ~ 5 min away in Wickford,
• Tavern By the Sea: American/Seafood: similar setting on the water ~ 5 min away in Wickford.
• Tate’s Italian Kitchen: Delicious Italian great for dine in or takeout ~ 5 min away in Wickford.
• Plenty more options in Narragansett/Jamestown and lots of delivery options.
• Whole Foods delivery via Amazon Prime available as well!

Great house for a group of people. We stayed for a girls weekend and there was plenty of space for all 6 of us. Beds were very comfortable and accommodations were excellent. Hangout spaces were great and providing plenty of space for everyone to sit. Location was conveniently located. We visited Mystic, CT and Newport, RI.

The home fully met our need! Great spacious family areas great screened in porch and awesome views of loons, water and fish jumping throughout the day. Easy to get to and easy to stay at!I would recommend the home to anyone that wants to be close to activities in Newport but get away to the country and the water. Our family rating of this property is at least a 6 out of 5!Great place!!!
