East Mesa Hideaway

We stayed for a month from mid-January until mid-February 2022. The house was exactly as shown in the VRBO photos, very clean, neat, and freshly renovated. The house was in a busy residential area centrally located to freeways, shopping and restaurants. My wife especially liked the cleanliness of the house and the fresh smell when we checked in. There was lots of dishes, silverware, towels, paper supplies and other essentials to make our stay comfortable. The one disappointment was the back yard. The photos showed a yard with nice green grass; this was not the case. The grass was brown, all but dead, and profuse watering by the irrigation system in an attempt to revive the grass kept the lawn soaked most all the time. This made it necessary to only let our 1 yr old puppy out on a leash to keep him on the graveled areas. It lead to many walks and visits to the dog park for his exercise. The host, Jonathan, was very responsive to the few issues and questions we had. Overall, we were pleased with the experience.
