About this house rental
Cozy cottage nestled on a quiet cul-de-sac, less than a mile from the beautiful Houghton Lake. This family-friendly vacation retreat can sleep 10 guests. There are 3 bedrooms, Bed room-1 Queen Bed, 2- Queen Bed, 3- Two twin Beds 1-Queen, Den- Futon Full size. All linen provided. 2 Full baths, an updated kitchen with a spacious living area, 46" smart TV in Living Room, 80" smart TV in Den and a large yard for outdoor activities. Keurig Coffee maker with coffee provided. Electric fireplace for those cozy moments. The home also features a covered porch for relaxing moments looking at nature or playing board games. Pets welcome but guest must clean up after their pets. A fee will be applied to your deposit if a clean u p is provided. NO LOUD PARTIES, NO SMOKING, NO BURNING CANDLES, NO MORE THAN ONE PET

Great owner. Communication was awesome. She even reached out while we were there a couple times just to make sure we had everything we needed. Definitely will stay there again.

The house was in a great location relative to the lake, and it fit exactly what we were looking for in terms of a place to relax. Angela was very communicative and hospitable.
My only complaint was that when we arrived, the house smelled very strongly of some kind of animal smell (either a dead animal or cat pee, we decided). We were able to air things out for the most part by opening windows, but it was pretty jarring at first. The garage where the games were also smelled pretty musty. If/when these are taken care of, I'd have no problem staying here again.
