About this house rental
This unique place has a style all of its own. Operating as the Blake Opera House in the 1920’s , it had become the Civic Theater since at least 1941. This gem of a location still boast the original lobby with the coolest Art Deco detail. Come be our guest in this one of a kind apartment.

We liked our stay well enough because of the charm and unusualness of the property but as many others have commented, the space is really dirty. The sinks, toilet, etc were clean but when actually sitting on the loo, the view is pretty dismal. It needs deep cleaned. One aspect we really enjoyed was walking through the neighborhood and reading the history plaques located in the front yards of the large, historic homes. If you get headaches from synthetic scents, be aware of how many candles are located in this property. The bedroom thankfully did not have any scented items.

Property was very unique. Great event capability and patio was amazing. Living quarters were good although comfortable seating was limited. Bedroom was setup very cozy.
