ABOUT THE TOWNHOUSE
Rustic pine furnishings add an air of mountain charm to this townhouse. Curl up by the gas fireplace in the living room and watch a movie on the 32” flat screen TV with DVD player. A leather sleeper sofa offers space for extra guests, and a quaint office area provides a comfortable place for catching up on emails.
The formal dining area seats six, and the kitchen bar seats two. The roomy kitchen boasts gleaming black countertops, new stainless appliances, and a double sink with disposal. It's stocked with all the necessities for whipping up everything from après ski meals to on-the-go breakfasts.
Sip morning coffee or evening cocktails on the balcony overlooking the beautiful natural landscape.
The master bedroom features a king-size bed, large windows, and warm wood details. Tuck in and watch your favorite shows on the 32” TV. The bright en-suite bathroom features lovely tile work and a tub/shower combination.
The second bedroom has a queen-size bed, 32” TV, and a private balcony. Both bedrooms offer ample closet storage space.
The second bathroom has a walk-in shower and tiled vanity.
Amenities include a washer/dryer, heated single-car garage, and driveway parking for one more.A shared pool and hot tub await at the Los Pinos Upper Village (450 Village Road).
THE LOCATION
Location, location, location! This inviting townhouse is a ski lover's paradise. You are just one block from the lifts at Breckenridge and less than 6 miles from Copper Mountain. Access run to the Snowflake chair is across the street, approximately 100 yards from the unit. Guests can ski right to the lift. In summer months, hike at Gold Run Trail, 3 miles from home, or hit the trail on a rental from Breck Bike Guides, 4 blocks away. When it comes to dining and imbibing, The Lost Cajun, Base Nine, and Relish offer seafood and creative American dishes, all within walking distance.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Pros:
Location, easy access to downtown Breck and the ski area.
Garage provided perfect storage area for our bikes, golf clubs, travel stuff.
Fireplace works at the touch of a switch.
Linens and towels are adequate...nothing fancy but okay.
Living and dining furniture are comfortable.
Television...smart TV's in living room and bedroom allow access to streaming.
Internet...WiFi provides adequate speed and coverage.
Laundry...washer and dryer work well.
Ventilation...Windows open on both sides and air flows freely.
Cons:
Cleanliness: The townhouse was not cleaned well, the top of the refrigerator was filthy and we had to wash all the dishes and silverware when we arrived.
General maintenance: The bathtub drain was clogged. One of the toilets had a faulty handle and required constant attention. The icemaker on the refrigerator worked half the time.
No cleaning equipment. We were there a month. Not a broom or vacuum in sight. We had to buy a broom.
Stovetop...If you are a short order cook and like to keep a hot pan moving, you'll love it. Otherwise, trying not to burn things on this stove is an art form.
Small bedrooms and bathrooms. This townhouse was okay for a couple. Had there been more than two of us, it would have been very tight. Both bathrooms are small, one has a shower that's too tiny for an adult. There's no way two couples could be comfortable in this unit.
Overall, we were happy with the unit and felt it was reasonable for the price. However, the lack of cleanliness, particularly in this time of COVID, will dissuade us from using this rental company again.
