We can’t say enough good things about staying here. The view from the bedroom and the living room is stunning. Staying out on the lanai caused us to be late to everything because we couldn’t break away from that view. Amir and Maryam were amazing hosts. Very attentive and kept in contact as much as we needed. They went above and beyond to make our stay one of the best we’ve ever had. They live in another state and we’re completely unintrusive. However, when we need anything, they were highly attentive and able to get things done. Such amazing hosts!!The resort itself is just stunning, the beach is amazing, the common areas are unbelievably well kept and beautiful. We would without doubt and question stay here again. We are so grateful to our hosts and happy with our decision to stay here. You will never want to stay anywhere else.

We truly can’t say enough good things about this incredible place. The views from both the bedroom and living room are absolutely breathtaking — the kind of scenery that stops you in your tracks. We often found ourselves losing track of time just sitting on the lanai, soaking in the panoramic views of Hanalei Bay and the lush mountains. Breakfast out there was pure perfection. The condo itself was spotless, spacious, and beautifully appointed, with every amenity thoughtfully provided — from beach chairs, coolers, and snorkel gear to a Brita pitcher and washer/dryer for convenience. It’s the best of both worlds: all the comfort and privacy of a condo, with the full resort experience just steps away. The pools, beach, and common areas are stunning and impeccably maintained, and we loved having easy access to on-site dining and nearby activities. Amir and Maryam were phenomenal hosts — incredibly kind, responsive, and attentive without ever being intrusive. They went above and beyond to make our stay seamless and special. Every detail was just right, and their communication was top-notch throughout. We’ve stayed in many places over the years, but this one truly stands out. It’s peaceful, beautifully maintained, and the views are second to none. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already planning our return. If you’re lucky enough to stay here, don’t hesitate — book it. You’ll never want to stay anywhere else.

We had an amazing time! The unit is so spacious and property is beautiful- you can’t beat those views! It was so nice having resort amenities with your own private condo. The water was rough when we were there so we couldn’t really swim, but at a different time of year I’m sure the beach would be lovely! We did enjoy the pool and ate at both restaurants on property which were pretty good. There were plenty of beach chairs, coolers, etc. for us to use which was so convenient. The front desk also provides a coupon for Foodland which saved us a lot of money on groceries which was appreciated!

We had a wonderful stay at this clean, well-appointed Condo. It was hard to tear ourselves away from the views as they were so lovely and mesmerizing. The Resort was fun, we enjoyed the pools and a couple of activities. The restaurant and bar were great and the staff was very friendly and professional. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The view was beautiful, the condo was exactly as described, well-appointed and clean. The complex was quite nice. The condo and complex provided everything we needed.We had visions of sitting on the lanai and enjoying the beautiful view for hours, but it was not enjoyable since we could hear all discussions from anyone else on their lanai in the block of buildings. Also, the walls are thin, so when there were neighbors in the building, we had to install ear plugs to sleep.

My husband and I have stayed in this resort the last 3 years. This condo had amazing views, nice touches like beach chairs, coolers, beach umbrella etc. the indoor and outdoor furniture was comfortable, the bed was not to our comfort, but not bad and mattresses are subjective, people have different tastes, we had pressure point issues but were 55!. It was close to the second pool, the beach path and getting to the lobby/happy talk/ wiki wiki pizza and the main pool was a breeze. The view from the patio was amazing and it was very peaceful.washer and dryer made it convenient, I would totally stay here again. It’s the favorite one we’ve stayed in at the resort. If you haven’t stayed at this resort I highly recommend it. Owner is responsive and it was clean, with soap, shampoo and conditioner. We did not need anything to enjoy this space. They even have a Brita pitcher in the refrigerator, which we used to fill our bottles daily.highly recommend this unit.

We got married on Puu Poa three years ago in a very quick trip and have been eager to get back to Kauai to have a proper honeymoon. This place was amazing and came through on just about every single level. Fully stocked, perfect location, breathtaking and literally just insane views. From every place in the condo! The unit was great. Spacious and well laid out. Well stocked with essentials you need. You can't beat the incredible view of Hanalei Bay and the mountains. The resort property is also very nice but very large. They have golf cart type vehicles to help with long distances, the beach, and luggage. My only complaint is parking is tight. I think they literally have one dace per unit. Also, I had no idea how many children would be there from babies and toddlers to teens. This is more about all of Kauai instead of just here. But kids in the pools, hot tubs, every restaurant, everwhere. Reminded me of Orlando and I did not expect that here.

My wife and daughter (7) stayed here for nine nights in March 2024. We loved everything about the place. It’s on a great property with a really nice pool and hot tub that we went to every day and had a nice scenic walking path to the beach just a few minutes away. The view from the condo is definitely a highlight. We would spend every morning with our coffee just watching the waves and the scenery. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Kauai.

My husband and I Loved Maryam and Amir's condo. The layout is smartly designed and speaking of design, the interior furniture, artwork, fully stocked kitchen, and bed are all splendid. Communications between us were timely and we appreciated the written travel guide they sent us before we arrived. A big surprise was how wonderful Hanalei Resort is. The grounds and pool are gorgeous, the service staff friendly and efficient, and the bar/restaurant Happy Talk is fun, has good food, convenient, and full of great energy. We highly (very) recommend this fabulous rental!

This place is a very nice condo, very spacious and well-appointed and equipped. The balcony lanai is quite large and affords a very nice view of the sunset. The property has nice tennis courts and swimming pools and a decent bar/restaurant. There appeared to be another restaurant that recently closed and is undergoing a revamp of some sort. We are in our 70s and were not aware of having lots of hills to climb and a parking lot far remote from the condo. There are shuttle carts one can summon with a phone call, but be aware they expect anywhere from $5 to $20 tips each time you call them. Another bit of a surprise, the unit is advertised at $399/night, and one usually can expect some taxes to be added on. However, this resort hits you with daily valet parking fees and other charges, even though hardly anyone uses valet parking except for non-guests coming to the bar from off-campus. The valet always seemed to be busy so you have to wait. We gave up on that after the first day. So the daily amount ends up more like $700/night. There should be more accurate disclosure on what to expect. All that aside, it is a very nice place and I would rate it superior. A plus is the beach walk down the hill with a great sunset. Just be prepared to understand all the extra resort fees.

Me and my husband stayed in this beautiful condo in Hanalei Bay resort . Did so many excursions, enjoyed private beach , and everything what this beautiful resort offers. View from the lanai is absolutely gorgeous, everything was top notch, we are very happy. If you will stay on a north of the island you can book excursion Na Pali coast which leaves from the bay , 10 minutes away from us here , it’s 2,5 hours long , per, no need to drive to the south to port Ellie . It was so much fun and views of the coast are must see , stunning.😊🌺🏝🏖️

We splurged a bit to stay at HBR in Maryam’s condo and it was worth every penny. Check-in was very easy, communication was always fast and clear, and the condo itself was WONDERFUL. The view from the lanai was absolutely stunning, and it was stocked with everything you would need for a beach day. Highly recommend!

There is a real problem with parking. Restaurant patrons park in the lot used by vacationers, filling the lot. The valet will take your car and park it somewhere for you but this can take 20 minutes or more because of the parked cars everywhere.

This is my second stay at Hanalei Bay Resort and won’t be my last. We love the resort for its beautiful grounds, amenities, pool, and proximity to all that Northern Kauai has to offer. I HIGHLY recommend Amir and Maryam’s condo at Hanalei Bay Resort. From the moment we booked with them communication was timely, kind, and professional. They were always there with very quick responses to answer all of our questions. The condo was spacious, very clean, and well appointed with everything you would need for a great stay. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare a great meal at “home.” Our favorite part was the panoramic views out onto Hanalei Bay. From the moment you step into the condo your breath is taken away. The Lanai (where we spent almost all of our time while in the condo) was very large and had a table for 4 and 2 lounge chairs. We saw rainbows, beautiful sunsets, and waves crashing in the distance. We really hope to be back again one day. Thanks Amir and Maryam!

Our favorite part was the patio and view! Great lagoon pool and nice you can walk to their beach. Business center convenient for early morning East Coast work while on vacation and Happy Talk was convenient and fun for music and cocktails. Can’t wait to go back!
