Set in a peaceful pocket of Island Park pines just 30 minutes from Yellowstone, Cozy Bear Cabin is where slow mornings, big adventures, and fire pit nights all come together. This renovated cabin has AC, 4 queen beds, updated bathrooms, leather recliners, a propane firestove, full kitchen, gas grill, outdoor swing, and nearby river/reservoir access. Some cabins are just a place to sleep. Cozy Bear Cabin is the kind of place that becomes part of the trip.

Set in a peaceful pocket of Island Park pines, this renovated cabin brings together everything people love about a Yellowstone-area getaway: tall trees, crisp mountain air, trail days, river walks, kids on the swing, s’mores around the fire pit, and that quiet cabin feeling you came here for in the first place.

It’s rustic where it counts and renovated where it matters — with AC for warmer summer days, updated bathrooms, cozy leather recliners, a propane firestove, a Smart TV, and a fully stocked kitchen that makes meals at home easy. After a full day exploring Yellowstone, fishing Henry’s Fork, riding nearby trails, or adventuring around Island Park, this is exactly the kind of place you want to come back to.

You’re about 30 minutes from Yellowstone National Park’s West Entrance, close to Henry’s Fork, near Island Park Reservoir, and surrounded by year-round outdoor recreation. Spend your days fishing, boating, hiking, ATV riding, snowmobiling, wildlife watching, or taking those long scenic drives where everyone swears they’re “not that hungry” and then somehow eats an entire dinner at 6 p.m.

Inside, the main level has a comfortable living room with leather seating, a propane firestove, and a large TV for movie nights, lazy mornings, or winding down after the park. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, dishes, utensils, and the essentials for real meals — not just granola bars and gas-station snacks.

The sleeping setup is simple, comfortable, and group-friendly, with 4 queen beds total:

Sleeping Arrangements:
Main Level Bedroom: 1 Queen bed
Upstairs Left Loft: 1 Queen bed
Upstairs Right Loft: 2 Queen beds

The main-level bathroom includes a walk-in shower, and the upstairs half bath adds extra convenience for families and groups.

Outside is where Cozy Bear Cabin really shines. Grill dinner on the gas BBQ, sip coffee under the trees, let the kids enjoy the swing, or gather around the fire pit for s’mores, stories, and that “we should do this every year” feeling. The spacious roundabout driveway makes parking easy, with room for vehicles and trailers depending on size and seasonal conditions.

Whether you’re here for Yellowstone, fly fishing, ATV trails, snowmobiling, reservoir days, or simply a quiet cabin escape, Cozy Bear Cabin gives you a cozy, comfortable, memory-making home base in the heart of Island Park.

We had a great time and the cabin was beautiful. I would say for renters to be careful the road was hard to drive and we got stuck and had to pay for a tow right in front of the cabin. Great place to stay for a vacation i would definitely come back!

We stayed at Cozy Bear Cabin during our visit to Yellowstone. The drive to Yellowstone was bearable. There is a small section of dirt road to the cabin which may make it muddy coming and going to cabin. Fortunately we had good weather. There were some RV's and homes closer to the cabin than we had anticipated but it did not cause a problem. The home was clean and well appointed. Be advised that the trash needs to be taken to a landfill area (which is on the way if you are going to Yellowstone. It is closed on Sunday and Monday.) The instructions for operating the home were straight forward. Checking in was easy and communication with the owner was good. The amenities were as described.
