About this house rental
Relax with peaceful views of the lake in a quiet neighborhood on a large lot with mature trees. Bring your gear to enjoy kayaking the cove and great fishing from the private dock with boat ramp nearby. The property is centrally located for quick access to fishing spots and other activities around the lake. The cove is very active with wildlife and great for birdwatching or enjoying a nice sunset.
This reservation includes access to the property and dock only for the advertised rate
Additional boat rental add on is available by request through a third party rental platform
kayak/towable rentals are available as add-ons to the reservation at a daily rate of $75 for kayak access per day of your trip and $75 for towable access per day or your trip or choose to add on both towable and kayaks access at the same time to save 25% for $112.50 per day
(Both options come with life jacket and personal water float use)
In all there are 4 adult pelican brand sit in kayaks, 2 lifetime brand child sit on top kayaks (go to 140 lbs so smaller adults can also use them), and 2 lifetime sit on top adult kayaks that are less attractive to look at but still fully functional.

There are about a dozen personal/pool style floats for hanging out near the dock when the water is still

And one tow harness for use with pontoon boats

The house was amazing. The yard was so beautiful, big, and goes right down to the boat dock. The neighborhood was quiet. The house was well stocked with towels and kitchen accessories, and clean with lots of space. The pictures online don’t even do justice because the house was spectacular! Plus the AC definitely works. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be coming back. Communication with the owners was on point, answered any questions we had and also gave information when asked. Very quick responses! I’m glad we chose this property for our getaway!

Nice house with a well stocked kitchen. Huge back yard completely fenced in with a nice dock, two grills, two outside gas fire pits, and plenty of seating for a large group. Very quiet neighborhood and seem very safe. Great location on the lake and everything you may need is within 15 min. Only complaint is the patio furniture and dock could use a good spay down for dirt and spiders. Family caught a load of catfish and had a great time.

A very nice lakeside home off a quiet cove on the west side of Lake Palestine. The house was clean and fully stocked with linens and towels. Our family spent 3 nights in this home and really had a relaxing trip. Plenty of seating and beds for the crew and we didn't feel cramped at all. The backyard was huge.
We fished off the dock and caught several nice Catfish and White Bass. The dock had seating, string lights and a gas firepit which made hanging out there after dark really enjoyable.
I'd definitely stay here again the next time we are in this part of the state.

The house is as described. Plenty of room and space to roam. The pictures don’t do the property justice - it’s better than expectations. We had everything we needed to make a Thanksgiving feast for 11. The back yard is big and wonderful with the lake and private deck. We ranged in age from 5 to 90 and everyone was happy. Thank you for sharing your sunrises and sunsets.
