Stone's Throw - Newly Constructed 4 Bedroom w/heated pool - 1 Block to the Ocean

Communication with the host was top notch, probably one of the best we have ever experienced (close to 30 vrbo rentals). Property was exactly as described, only better in person!! OIB is one of our favorites & we were so lucky to get this rental! Kitchen is fully stocked & really clean, all bathrooms were perfect- just make sure to get your bath towels from the laundry room first lol. Master shower is unbeatable! Beds were all very comfy. So, so many pool toys & beach toys available. The decks were so nice w/ all the chairs to sit out & enjoy the evenings. The 2 livingroom areas were so nice to have as we had kids in one for their games & movie, and adults in the kitchen making dinner & visiting. My only suggestion for owners- please install hooks for hanging wet towels & bathing suits up outside the pool area & around the outside shower (aside from the fence, the only thing to hang up wet towels/suits/toys on, were the chairs. Otherwise thank you for maintaining a fantastic property! Looking forward to our return!

Great location at the end of the island. Good for fishing and going to the beach as it’s 2 houses away from public beach access. Pool was heated and a great feature. Memorial Day weekend and it wasn’t busy at all, we loved our stay. Clean and the host checked in on us, thank you so much for accommodating our 2 families! We will stay again.

This is a wonderful house with great amenities! The reason for the overall rating of a 3 is simply because of the elevator. I booked this place fully with the intention of the elevator working full time for my 79 yo mother and 80 yo father. After 2 knee replacements and aluminum scaffolding in his back, my father didn’t need to climb ALL those stairs. I was fully expecting the elevator to be operational during our stay. Brian, the property manager, immediately came over to reset the elevator on Saturday when we arrived. The problem is that the elevator worked 1 time and then wouldn’t work properly again for the remainder of the stay. Brian would’ve had to spend every waking moment with us resetting the elevator every time we needed to use it which was often. This is a great property IF you don’t need the elevator to work.
