About this house rental
Unwind at this centrally located, stunning creekside cabin. The historic bungalow was lovingly built with a covered stone patio, local bark siding, oak floors, and a spacious rear deck with rhododendron branch railing overlooking the creek. Breathe in the mountain air while building a fire by the burbling creek. Groceries, restaurants, and a coffee shop are just a stone's throw away. Here you’ll have a local's experience with city-life perks.
This family home is furnished to meet the needs of large groups, but cozy enough to feel like a luxurious getaway for business travelers and couples alike. Gather around in the living room watching the game on a 55" smart TV. There is a fully stocked kitchen, two large bathrooms, two outdoor areas, and a washer/dryer in the home for your use. This is not a remote, secluded cabin, but rather a modern home nestled right in the center of town.
Free parking for up to 4 vehicles in the driveway. You can easily walk to numerous shops and restaurants as well as a major grocery store. Boone's free shuttle service, AppalCart, has a stop only 400 feet from the front door.
You will be booking the entire home. No one else will be on the property. You will have access to all rooms in the home, including the washer/dryer. The basement (unfinished storage space) is locked.

The house was exactly as described. Very nice interior furnishing and kitchen was well stocked. I would stay here again.

We stayed here for two nights while working at App State.
2 guys and it worked out great and was way cheaper than 2 hotel rooms. Place was clean, beds nice, we just used the coffee machine. 2 full baths which is kinda weird for a place this size, but actually really nice that we each had our own bathroom.
Location is very convenient for getting into town and close to grocery store. Good parking on site.
This is not a picturesque cabin in a sleepy neighborhood, but we weren't looking for a view. It was perfect for what we needed; clean, in town good beds/baths, coffee maker!!
I would definitely stay again when coming to work.

The process of renting and communication was wonderful. The outside of the property did not look like the pictures; the wooden fence, overgrown shrubbery, and the front of the house were not reflected in promotional photos. There was no coffee and no bar soap in one bathroom and we had to buy toilet paper because we ran out. The bedspreads did not smell very fresh, but the sheets and towels were clean. The house itself seemed clean.
