For our first trip to the Outer Banks we couldn't have picked a more perfect house and Dave ( the owner) couldn't have been more attentive and caring,even going as far as making sure he knew the names (and spellings) haha of every one of his guests. Thank you for the absolute best vacation! We'll definitely be back!!

We just spent a week at this home in the Outer Banks and can’t wait to come back next year! The home is beautifully appointed, spacious and in a great location. The host was so kind and helpful and made great recommendations for places to visit and restaurants. Highly recommend!!

We really enjoyed our spring break week with our kids here! The host welcomed us upon arrival and checked in with us daily and took care of all our needs; he recommended restaurants, daily outings, and hidden OBX gems. We've been to Corolla several times and the host made suggestions that we wouldn't have discovered on our own. He was super responsive and went out of his way to ensure our stay was comfortable and as easy as possible. The house is in great condition, and in a new development with its own shared pier right by the sound side with great views of the sunset, and a short straight walk on a public path to the beach, and a short drive from good retail and many restaurants. We should also mention that the house was very family friendly and included plenty of beach chairs and wave boards and two beach wagons, as well as little kids scooters as well as pack & play and high chair for our toddler. We would definitely go back again!

The house was nice and decently equipped. The reason for the 3 stars is due to the owner being a constant presence in our stay. When we arrived to the house after driving 12 hours with 2 children, the owner approached our vehicle as we pulled into the driveway. He was so close to our truck that my husband could not open his door but had to roll down his window while thr owner poked his head in our vehicle. Then proceeded to take us on a tour of the home. When we got to the pool area David told our children not to swim in the pool or go in the hot tub without an adult present. It was odd. He assured us the house was 100% ready for us but it wasnt. The outdoor shower was broken and the ac on the 3rd floor was not functional. We also found a dead frog in the hot tub that disinigrated when we tried to remove it. We let the owner know and he loaded the hot tub with chlorine which made our children break out in a rash. He did extended a gift card for dinner since the ac took a while to fix which was kind and we were thankful because it was too hot to cook in the kitchen. He kept coming back to the property to check on the pool area, several times accordingto a text when asked why he needed to check again. One time he texted about coming by to check on the pool area again and 15 minutes later just showed up without a response. This was our 6th Vrbo rental and have never had an experience like this with an owner being so...present. Will not book again.
