Le Diamant: Townhouse with fenced garden

Just at the outskirts of the Diamant, Marie-Alice and Gilbert welcomed us and gave us all the preliminary information about the place and the sites to visit. They live on the upper floor of the house and rent the first floor which looks out on their yard. They were very attentive about giving us our privacy, at the same time leaving their door open if we needed anything. Several times, Marie-Alice came to ask us whether we were fine and needing anything and she always came up with a nice suggestion as to how to spend the following day. They invited us to their floor for homemade tipunch, accras and pie the last day of our stay and we spent quite a bit of time discussing the state of things. We heartly recommend their place. Sur les hauteurs de Diamant, Marie-Alice et Gilbert habitent l'étage supérieur et louent l'étage inférieur, qui donne directement sur leur jardin. Petit coin bien tranquille et super bien aménagé, ou il fait bon revenir après une journée sur la plage... Tous deux ont été bien attentifs à nous rendre le séjour aussi plaisant que possible, restant discrets mais laissant la porte ouverte.... Plusieurs fois, Marie-Alice nous a suggéré des activités ou des endroits à visiter lorsque nous calions un peu, et le jour avant notre départ, ils nous ont invités à partager ti-punch, accras et tarte au thon. Nous avons passé du bon temps ensemble, à discuter de maintes et maintes choses. Nous vous recommandons pleinement ce logement.

Malgré le confinement arbitraire imposé au doigt mouillé par M Le Prefet, nous avons passé d’excellentes vacances chez nos généreux hôtes pleins d’humanité, de sympathie. J’ai longtemps hésité à communiquer ici mes éloges pour garder le lieu égoïstement secret … mais nos hôtes méritent bien mieux :)

Merci à Marie-Alice et Gilbert pour leur super accueil et leur gentillesse. L'appartement nous a parfaitement convenu et nous nous y sentions très bien. Proche du village et de la mer, petite terrasse et jardin qui sont un vrai plus ! Nous reviendrons dès que possible
