This cabin was a great choice for us. We loved being located in Auke Bay away from the cruise traffic. Easy access to the beach was an added bonus as we went out there numerous times with our own packable beach chairs and enjoyed the views. The sauna was a great way to warm up after a cool Juneau day. The location was close to the airport, ferry terminal, fishing charters, and whale watching charters. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and loved the location.

This cabin was quiet and perfect for my work travel because it was situated near the beach to allow me to decompress after a long day. At the beach I saw porpoises, whales, eagles and at nearby Auke Bay I was able to see many anemones, sea stars and urchins at a minus tide. In addition, the bed was comfy and having laundry was super convenient.

Have stayed with Laura and Lars for the last several years every year when I come up to Alaska, fantastic host very nice people. The cabins are always comfortable and clean the sauna as an added, plus.
