About this cottage rental
This beautiful, sun filled lake house is perfect for families and groups looking for the quintessential 4 season Maine getaway. Whether you spend the week looking out over the water, canoe and kayak around pristine Green Lake, or venturing out to nearby Acadia National Park or the Waterfront Concerts in Bangor you are sure to love this unique and accessible spot.
We have recently renovated the home and are excited to share this lakeside gem with guests. There are three bedrooms, two full baths, a full kitchen and plenty of space for groups of up to 11 to spread out and enjoy the lake life. In addition to the king, queen and full bed in the upstairs bedrooms, our owners apartment can be made available for groups larger than 6. The newly renovated walk-out features a queen bed, single bed and sleeping sofa, as well as a full bath and kitchenette. The walk-out is perfect for grandparents, friends or as a "kids apartment".
Depending on your group and occasion, please feel free to reach out and discuss alternative arrangements, we will do our best to accommodate your trip depending on season and availability.
Parking is available next to the main entrance of the house and on a gravel parking area at the entrance of the property. Therefore, you could easily park 4 cars on the property during your stay.
There are absolutely no animals (including service animals) and no smoking allowed.
As we have a septic system, please throw only septic-safe toilet paper (provided) down the toilet system, absolutely no sanitary items, wet-wipes, paper towels or oil (especially in the kitchen).

Loon Lounge is absolutely AMAZING!! The views of the lake are breathtaking and can be enjoyed from every room. The house was spotless and had all the amenities we could have hoped for and more. It was incredibly spacious, with plenty of room to comfortably accommodate four generations of our family. The layout made it easy for everyone to have their own space, yet still come together in the large gathering areas. The kitchen was perfect for cooking and sharing meals, and the numerous bathrooms made everything so convenient. The owners were incredibly attentive and made sure every need we had was met. It truly felt like a home away from home.

We had a fabulous stay at this lakeside home! The atmosphere is comfortable and relaxing. We had plenty of activities to keep us busy with the paddle boards and kayaks. The Adirondack chairs on the dock provided a great spot to get together for conversation and laughter. The firepit was nice in the evening for cooking smores. We spent a day in Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, which is a quick and easy drive from Green Lake.

What an amazing location for our annual family gathering this year! The home was charming with a warm cottage atmosphere and situated right on beautiful Green Lake. It was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and offered our family the opportunity for their own space to spread out - 7 adults and 3 kids (4 and under). The setting on the lake is spectacular and we enjoyed swimming, kayaking, tubing, fishing, and relaxing by the fire pit. The property was well equipped with kitchen items, linens, water gear equipment…everything we needed. The owner was extremely helpful prior to and during our stay with quick responses to any questions and helpful guidance to attractions in the area. We will certainly enjoy our memories of our family gathering at this special Maine spot for years to come…and hope to return sometime in the future! Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us!
