Enjoy the comforts of home at Honeybee Hideaway! Every season is the season for a LAKEFRONT getaway with your AWESOME HOSTS!
BEDROOMS-5: Our guests go out of their way to compliment our comfortable beds, sheets & blankets!
1 & 2 - 2 Queen bedrooms on the main level with luxury linens, extra pillows (soft & firm), TV, black-out curtains, ceiling fan, thermostat (heat & air), closet with hangers, dresser & luggage rack.
3 - Twin bed + trundle bed on the main level with luxury linens, extra pillows (soft & firm), TV, black-out curtains, ceiling fan, thermostat (heat & air), closet with hangers, dresser, luggage rack and work desk.
4 - King bedroom + futon on the 2nd level with luxury linens, extra pillows (soft & firm), TV, black-out curtains, ceiling fan, thermostat (heat & air), dresser, clothes rod with hangers, armchair with footrest and reading light, and luggage rack.
5 - King bedroom + separate trundle bed on the 2nd level with luxury linens, extra pillows (soft & firm), TV, black-out curtains, ceiling fan, thermostat (heat & air), closet with hangers, luggage rack and game/play area.
MAIN LIVING AREA: The main level has an open floor plan with living room, kitchen, dining area, full bathroom, washer/dryer & sliding glass doors that opens to the private outdoor deck & hot tub. Thermostat to control the heat/AC. (+ 3 bedrooms)
2nd FLOOR: Full bathroom + 2 king bedrooms (+ play area).
BATHROOMS-2: Both full bathrooms are stocked with luxury towels, black make-up towels, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, q-tips and cleaning supplies.
WE ARE STOCKED: Honeybee Hideaway is complete with pots, pans, dinnerware, silverware, glasses, cooking utensils, toaster, air fryer, drip coffee pot, blender, spices, soaps, sponge, towels, paper towels, coffee/tea/sugars/honey.
WASHER/DRYER: Washer and dryer is available to use, located in the first floor bathroom closet. A supply of laundry pods are available but will not be replenished. Please do not wash black makeup towels or any colored clothing with any of the white towels or sheets. (if you have allergies or are sensitive to certain laundry detergent, please bring your own)
OUTDOORS: From the dining area/kitchen, walk through the sliding glass doors onto the newly built privacy deck. Enjoy the new hot tub (up to 7 people), propane BBQ grill (propane provided) dining area and conversation set. There are sliding gates with latches leading to the side driveway and backyard. Hammocks, kayaks, pedal boat, wood-burning fire-pit with seating and s’mores await! Wood may not always be on site so please be prepared to bring or purchase at a nearby store (Walmart and supermarkets). There is a s'mores set up as our gift - sticks, marshmallows, chocolate & graham crackers; a great way to enjoy your night and each other's company! The back deck & fire-pit area offer plenty of light at night from the outdoor string lights, great ambiance! There are also separate hot tub towels - enjoy!
All TVs in the home are SMART TVs offering easy login to your favorite streaming channels like Netflix, Hulu, etc.
In season, we do supply beach/pool towels as the other towels in the home are only intended for bathing and hot tub use.
COMMUNITY AMENITIES:
Although our home is lakefront, it is not considered a ‘swimming lake’. You can kayak or use any type of non-motorized water vessel, you can wade in the shoreline water where you can still see your feet, you can catch-and-release fish and enjoy the scenery. But swimming in this lake is prohibited and can be enjoyed just a few minutes from Honeybee at the dedicated swimming lake with freshly groomed sand (daily). The community maintains this beach/swimming area very nicely and can be enjoyed with beach chairs (please bring your own), picnic blanket, sand toys and swimming. You may use the area already portioned off for swimming with their floating dock to jump right in! Go make a splash! Also at the beach is a playground and basketball hoops.
Feel free to also bring your own non-motorized watercraft like additional kayaks, paddle boards, etc.
The heated swimming pool is available for the summer season, Memorial Day-Labor Day. Guest passes for the pool will be made available - further information will be shared if you are visiting during this time.
What else?
-Honeybee offers high speed internet for all your work, TV, phone and gaming needs.
-A few outdoor games are available like cornhole and paddles/balls.
-Plenty of indoor games, puzzles, books and building blocks/legos.

Jennifer is a gem!!! Communication with her was such a breeze and she was able to get back to me in such a quick fashion! The house was lovely, had everything you could possibly need when going away from home. The hot tub was a hit. I didnt get to go in, but i know my family definitely enjoyed it. The smores kit that jennifer left was such a hit with my children. It truly was a nice gesture from Jennifer. We got to see a lot of deer, which was awesome. This home truly was a home far away from home. Thank you for the experience Jennifer!!!

We selected 5-Stars because 6-Stars was not an option...
We have stayed in the Poconos at various other houses and townhouses, in various communities. This was the best house and the best community we've stayed in thus far.
Jennifer was also the best host. She thought of everything down to the very last details... Towels for the hot tub, with separate towels for the lake/pools and separate towels for the bathrooms.
The firepit had wood - and she also had a smore's kit available for us (though we didn't get a chance to take advantage during our short stay).
Coffee and tea were available with coffee filters, sugar and sweetener, and honey stocked and ready for us.
Clean is an understatement. We noticed that the glassware (wine glasses and regular glasses) were literally spotless and without a trace of dust.
The very first thing that we noticed upon arrival was that the A/C was on and the house was cool upon arrival. Given our experience at other properties, this was a very pleasant surprise.
Jennifer was in communication with us each day. We received an e-mail in the morning to let us know which pools were open. She also alerted us to the fact that the K Pool (which was under renovation) became available (Day 1) during our stay.
Checking in was VERY easy. It should also be noted that the check out procedures were also easy and reasonable.
A+ across the board - host, house, and community.

My family and I recently stayed at the Honeybee Hideaway. Jennifer was very attentive to emails and questions and helpful with providing info about the property and the community’s events. The house is beautiful and thoughtfully stocked with items that make your stay easier and more comfortable.
Unfortunately some of the rules and the overall vibe of the HOA in this community are oppressive and not geared toward vacationers. The two pools had staffing issues; one as closed during our stay and the other day as open on modified hours. The other (main) pool by the beach area was very strict with toys, kids jumping into the pool, moving chairs (even by a few inches), and no food. The snack stand was closed a couple of the days of our stay as well. The beach area of the lake is rather small but mostly shallow which was nice in regards to our young kids.
Overall, the house and host experience was okay but the strict rules of the HOA and the staff at the lake, pool, and membership center made our experience of the amenities not enjoyable.
