About this cabin rental

Small waterfront cabin with a private queen-sized bedroom with a sofa bed in the living room. A 2 person hot tub overlooks the Maumee River and an undeveloped state-owned island.

There is a full kitchen and bathroom. There are small Smart TV's in both the living room and bedroom.

Everything you'll need for the most part is furnished, including linens, bedding, silverware, dishes, pots, pans, cooking utensils, hand soap, paper towels, bathroom tissue, and hand towels.

There is a Circle K gas station with all the necessities that is open 24/7 just 2 1/2 miles away. There is a large Kroger grocery store about 5 miles from the cabin that is open until 10 pm.

Enjoy the free use of our kayaks, canoe, paddle boat, and fishing boat to navigate between the beautiful islands across from your cabin. While the river is usually no higher than deep, life vests for both adults and children are provided.

There is a 10-mile-long hiking and biking trail that abuts our property and runs through the woods along the river. There are usually a few bikes laying around to use.

My husband and I live in one of the 10 cottages (Brown "A" frame) that we have so we are available should you need anything.

You are responsible for bringing, or gathering, your own firewood.

Pets are always welcome and smoking is only permitted outdoors. Pets must be on a leash when outside and cleaned up after. There is a $50.00 fee.

There really isn't enough I can say! The property, AMAZING! Staff, AMAZING! Comfort, setting, cars, watercraft and information about the local area, AMAZING! Some of my family needs a little extra understanding, and Parker made us feel seen, heard, appreciated and genuinely welcomed!

Our stay at Riverwood was great. It’s a nice place to just relax and enjoy the scenery. Parker and Kathy are great hosts and made sure our stay was fun and relaxing. We took a boat out and utilized the complementary bikes. We will definitely be back. Having just a little phone service helped us to detach as well but the WiFi was still available.

My husband and I got away for the wknd and our cabin was the perfect size. The hosts are extremely friendly. I've never experienced the hospitality as we did during this stay from the moment we arrived. The hot tub was the perfect size for the 2 of us and the bed & pillows were amazingly comfortable. It was so nice to have boats that were readily available. Thanks to the hosts for making these cabins available for others to enjoy!!

Parker and Cathy were wonderful hosts. We loved the use of the canoes, bikes, and fishing boat! Although the bikes were a variety of types and use, it made it easy to just come and enjoy biking the paths!

We were surprised at the location when we arrived. The overall smell and looks of the river were a huge turnoff. We were expecting to be in the water swimming etc but there was no way. The smell invaded the cabin through the air conditioning and physically made me nauseous. Everyone around us was extremely nice, as was the caretaker. We ended up leaving a day early.

Parker and his family have the most peaceful cabin settings we've been to. With that being said, there were also activities available such as kayaking, paddle boating and john boats with electric motors for exploring the nearby islands or for just tooling around the river or fishing. We wanted for nothing while we were there. We definitely will be repeat visitors and have already told so many family and friends about our experience. If there was a rating higher than 10 i would be giving it. Love this.place.

Loved this small rustic cabin for a girl’s weekend. Perfect if you want close quarters and a cozy atmosphere. The jacuzzi was clean and already turned on and warmed for us on arrival! ❤️ The hosts were very friendly and were quick to respond when we had questions.

Absolutely loved our cabin. Parker delivered firewood to our site before dinner on the first night. I noticed that when our camping neighbor didn't know how to get a fire started, he jumped right in and made sure they had a good fire going. Billy went fishing every day and most evenings. We didn't use them, but there were boats and kayaks available for use. We plan to go back in November.

We didn't stay near long enough! My husband and i were in the area for a short visit to buy a vehicle and found this gem. Clean, tidy cabin that was equipped with everything you could possibly need to be comfortable. The owner/host is very accommodating and friendly! We will definitely be back!

When we arrived it was very inviting. The cabin is beautiful. The bed very comfortable. They had goodies for us when we got there. They thought of everything in this cabin. The hot tub was perfect and over looks the Maumee river. I can't wait to go back in summer time...there is a bike and walking trail and kayaking....just perfect!

Great location. Hot tub in winter? What a great idea. Privacy, and all the amenities you could hope for on a cabin camping trip. Hot cocoa, popcorn, games. This is a cozy nook tucked away on a riverside near Toledo. We will be back again during warmer weather with our canoe. Thanks for an amazing time. Very relaxing and a much needed respite.

My daughter and I just got back home from spending a fabulous weekend in this lovely cabin. We felt instantly at home. Parker and Cathy were very nice and welcoming .They had all kinds of extras that didn’t go unnoticed. There were all kinds of snacks, fruit and coffee, hot cocoa etc. We enjoyed the kayaks, hot tub and walking trails. I enjoyed sitting on the deck looking out at the river. It was very peaceful and relaxing. We will very much like to return in the future . Thanks for allowing us to stay at your cabin and for allowing us to bring our dog with us

Cathy and Parker were two of the best hosts I have had the pleasure of meeting. The property is well maintained, the cabin was just as expected, the use of the paddle boat was a great way to relax and see the beautiful scenery, and the hospitality was fantastic. Parker even took some photos for my mom and I at the hip.camp VW van that will be charished formant years to come. They are A+ in our book

The cabin was cozy and decorated nicely with an outdoor/woodsy theme. The hot tub on the deck was great! The location was just off the beaten path but there are neighbors close by. In front of us was the Maumee river and just behind us was a great walking/biking path. We took our 3 dogs out on river with a canoe provided by property owner. What an adventure!! Superhost is an understatement when speaking of Parker, he is johnny on the spot for whatever you need! Cathy is easily accessible by phone or a knock on their door. Overall it was a great time!

The property was very comfortable and the use of free kayaks was very nice. The owners are all about keeping the clientele happy and always check in with them. The big problem we encountered was a foul odor coming from drainage at the edge of the river; very strong right next to it but it never wafted up to the cabin.

The cabin itself was nice, however it was so close to other cabins/dwellings there was no privacy. There was nowhere to sit out of the hot sun so you were stuck inside. In the kitchen there was no pan to cook in, very few utensils for cooking and only plasticware to eat with. The tv in the bedroom was installed upside down so we couldn't watch in there. But the space was enough for 2, air conditioning worked and the water was hot
