About this house rental
The Big Sky Lodge of Northern Arizona features rustic post & beam construction and decor to provide mountain living at its best.
Located among the tall pine trees at the base of the mountains, fresh air, pine scent and wildlife await your arrival. For the few warm days during the summer we have even added Air Conditioning to the home for your total comfort.
The newly renovated kitchen is stocked with all the appliances and kitchen gadgets you will need to cook a feast for your group. Plenty of plates, bowls, cups, silverware, etc to host a large group. There is a Traeger grill on the back porch as well as a propane pizza oven for your enjoyment.
Sit out in the sunroom and watch the deer in the yard, curl up in front of one of the two wood-burning fireplaces, or gather around the 12-foot dining room table for a feast with your loved ones.
Mountains, trees, deer and elk surround the sprawling space. Come see the best of Flagstaff high country living. A little over an hour from the Grand Canyon and close to all that Northern Arizona has to offer. What more could you need. Bring your whole family.

We had a fantastic stay at this property! The house was immaculate and exactly as shown in the pictures. It’s located in a great neighborhood, which made the trip even more enjoyable. Communication with Kevin, the host, was prompt and helpful throughout. This was our first time booking with VRBO, and it was a wonderful experience—I’d gladly stay here again on my next trip to Flagstaff!

Very nice house with open layout. Saw some deer almost every day and it was in a very convenient location. The pictures are a little out of date. There is a new build house under construction in place of the zen symbol park now and no monitors are in the sunroom office.

The property was nice in a good area. The owner was not accurate in listing amenities (firepit?), and the home was pretty dusty. There were 2 wall sconces missing (which he said he had ordered), and an alarm that was hanging off the wall. There was a section of carpet that was loose, causing a tripping hazard. The couch in living room is so deep that most cannot sit comfortably on it without several pillows behind them. The TV had to be changed by standing up and directing the remote at it.
However, the owner had many kitchen amenities, and a great dining area for a large group. The beds were somewhat comfortable.
We wish he had provided better instructions for the hot tub (top was broken and very wobbly), and other appliances. We are used to an owner providing a binder with that information, gas and water shutoff and other safety information, as well as restaurant and grocery recommendations.
If you aren't too picky, this is a nice home, and could be great with a few tweaks.
