About this house rental
3 level log home , Watch the Durango & Silverton train go by, look north to the needles mountains, open floor plan with large kitchen with bar seating three, dining ,living area, with large windows, and outdoor decks. Tv room, 20min. To ski area, 7mi. To town. Just off hwy550 . There are two queen beds in separate rooms. Master is on the upper loft level with the second queen on the lower level ( very private) and two bunk beds with full beds on the bases and twin uppers. One of these bunk beds has a twin trundle underneath. These two bunk bed rooms are separated by a full bathroom. Summer months offer plenty of open 10 x 42 deck space with natural gas Weber grille, patio furniture includes table that seats six, lounge area with swivel rockers and couch. Entrance to the home is from the lower parking area up the log stairs on the north side to the 8 x 44 covered porch. Winter is no problem with the in-floor heating system on all levels. Back yard is fenced for up to two medium sized dogs.

We had an amazing stay. Everything exceeded our expectations. The house was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated and includes everything you would ever need. We did a lot of cooking and really appreciated that the kitchen had everything you would ever need. We also loved how close it was to everything in Durango. I can’t say enough good things about this property.

A nice place and the outside deck was the best. Plenty of seating to enjoy the view or just relaxing. Nice kitchen with everything you need to cook meals. The location was great for our day trips. It was a little tight for 12 people sleeping there, but we made it work. We enjoyed our stay.

The house was perfect for our five adult children and their three plus-ones. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and they really enjoyed the large living space. We were able to grill out one night, and there was ample seating both indoors and outdoors. The view of the mountains across the highway was lovely. The location was convenient to downtown Durango, local amenities like Durango Hot Springs, and Purgatory. All of our interactions with Eric, who manages the property, were professional, courteous, and friendly. We really believe he went above and beyond to ensure our family had a nice stay.

Wow! What a beautiful large log cabin! It was very close to Durango with easy access to all the surrounding attractions. It was a perfect place for our family vacation with 6 adults and two young children. We did the Rodeo, the Train to Silverton, Lake Nighthorse beach, Fishing, and of course shopping and eating in Durango. Communication throughout the rental process and stay was great. Thank you Eric, we would not hesitate to book again in the future!
