About this house rental

Enjoy all that Deadwood and the Black Hills have to offer from this location! The Mickelson Trail is just across the street. Jump on the trail for a walk, run, or bike ride. There is also a trolley stop just a 2 min walk down the road - hop on the trolley and enjoy the old west feel of the city of Deadwood. There is also easy access to snowmobile trails and you are close to ski areas.
The space
This 3-bedroom home is fully furnished with three queen-sized beds and all linens. There are two bedrooms and a full bath on the main floor, and one bedroom with a 3/4 bath in the loft. You will be able to enjoy off-street parking and free WIFI. The kitchen is fully outfitted with all the pots, pans, dishes, silverware, dish towels, paper towels etc that you should need. We also have a crockpot, coffee pot (with coffee and filters), blender, electric can opener, and toaster. We furnish all paper products, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and towels, plus there is a blow dryer in each bathroom. The washer and dryer on the main floor are available for your use, and we supply detergent. There is a BBQ grill, a large picnic table, a fire pit, and plenty of outdoor seating. If you are motorcycle enthusiasts, there are even clean rags for you to use on your bikes. If you are visiting in the winter, there are miles of snowmobile trails in the area, and you can enjoy downhill skiing. The Mickelson Trail, which is a great walking or biking trail, runs along beside the creek in this section, and it is a beautiful setting! There are only two homes on Cliff St., and the back yards border Forest Service land, so watch for deer on the hillside! From here, you can venture out in all directions to take in our beautiful Black Hills and Badlands. We will have SD Vacation Guides, Black Hills and Badlands maps, and other brochures in the house for your use. Or you can walk across the street to the Pluma building where there is more information.
We hope you will book with us and enjoy Deadwood and our beautiful Black Hills. We would welcome you as our guests.
Guest access
The small road / driveway up to the house are shared with another house but the parking area, yard, and full house are for guest use only. These are not shared spaces.

The closest trolley stop is the Buffalo Thunder Lodge stop, just around the corner toward downtown Deadwood, about 1200ft. The Trolley schedule states that the trolley should arrive about 38 minutes past the hour but take this with a grain of salt. Delays may be caused by weather, traffic, construction, etc. You can track the exact location of the trolley on the Deadwood Trolley Tracker on cityofdeadwood.com. The cost of the trolley is $2.00 per ride.

Please note: The home is heated with an in-floor radiant system powered by an instant hot water heater. During colder months you may hear the system cycling on/off as it draws on the instant hot water heater, particularly at night. This is normal and necessary to maintain warmth in winter, but if you're sensitive to noises, please take note of this.

The location was conveniently located near the Mickelson Trail but further from the city center than we expected. Size of home was perfect for our family. Housekeeping lacked in a few areas such as under sofas, sofa cushions, and washer. Towels smelled musty. The sound of the water every time we flushed or turned on the sink in the bathroom was loud and unexpected. As well as the location of the house. I had to refer to your email for the driving instructions since we arrived late. The driveway was hard to find in the dark. Otherwise, We thoroughly enjoyed Deadwood!
