Cheerful, Spacious Bedroom Suite w/private bath

Forget your worries and come relax in this spacious, peaceful, and beautifully appointed guest room/suite with private bath and private hallway, separated from the rest of the house behind pocket doors. Our home is situated on a quiet cul de sac in the northern Hartford suburbs. Included in this property is:
1) private bedroom, including a adjustable queen size bed
2) private full bath.
3) shared kitchen - complementary coffee, tea, cereals are provided in the morning. Cooking is not permitted, except for reheating in the microwave. Feel free to use the fridge.
4) You’re also welcome to enjoy time out on our comfy porches and lushly landscaped backyard patios, weather permitting.

We pride ourselves on providing you a spacious, clean and welcoming space you'll want to return to and relax in after your day’s activities.

The guest suite bedroom, with beautiful views to the back gardens, includes a queen-size, memory foam mattress on an adjustable bed frame. Use the remote to set head and knees at just the right angle, or quickly reset to flat. Also included is a desk/workspace and 24” TV, luggage racks, an iron and ironing board, a comfy chair, and a white noise machine.

The private bath includes a standard tub/shower, ample space on the vanity to spread out your things, comfy towels, first aid kit, and complementary green toiletries.

Before heading out for the day, guests are welcome to take morning coffee/tea/juice and a quick bite in our kitchen or out on the back porch over looking the back gardens (weather permitting).

Our newer built home is located in a completed community in the northern Hartford suburbs, with wonderful views of the Berkshire hills to the north. We're at the end of a quiet cul de sac with plenty of parking.

Guest Access:
Access to the Guest Suite suite is through the main house. We'd be happy to help you with your luggage when you arrive. To keep the outside stuff outside, we leave our outside shoes inside in the foyer and ask you to do the same. Socks provided. Feel free to bring your own slippers.

Interaction with guests:
We're happy to help with recommendations, directions, or share travel stories, or even show you around the area. During your stay, we can be as scarce or as interactive as you like. It's up to you. We’re always available via the app or cell phone.

The area:
Our home is located in a cul de sac in a quiet newer neighborhood in the northern suburbs of Hartford. We're 4 miles from Bradley (Hartford/Springfield) airport, 20 minutes to downtown Hartford or Springfield, and about 20 minutes to West Hartford Center and Blue Back Square and all its restaurants. Our home is also very convenient to the Windsor area Corporate business parks. We're also convenient to the i91 and i84 highways.

Although having a car to get around our area is the most convenient option, there is a local bus stop a half mile from our home where bus #52 will take you to downtown Hartford in about a half hour. From the same stop, bus #54 takes you east on Day Hill Rd to the Poquonock Ave Bus stop where there is an express bus to Hartford weekdays. Certain corporate office parks are actually quite close to our home.
