About this apartment rental
This home is bright and light colorful and cozy. Short walk to the Elmwood Village restaurants and shops. This is a historic home with eclectic decor. This is a large home with period moldings and large windows. Steam heat, it's cozy in the winter!
This is our second home and has an arty vibe. We use it fairly regularly so it is more like a home than a standard vacation rental. There are spices and condiments in the refrigerator and canned goods and things like oatmeal and rice in the cupboards. Use whatever you like. (or not lol).
This home is not renovated and modern. The house is 130 years old and the apartment has not been updated since the 80's. The appliances are older and there are not new countertops etc. If sleek and high tech finishes are what you want, this is not for you. The heat is steam radiators and there is only window unit A/C in the bedrooms from June - October. All the windows work and there are screens and lots of fans. It's in the middle of a fabulous neighborhood and is priced accordingly.

We enjoyed thie quirky charm of this apartment. Beautiful old century home. Loved the eclectic furnishings. Nice size kitchen. We had everything we needed. Roomy, comfortable and clean. In a nice quiet neighborhood. The location was perfect for us. We travel with our little dog - walking him was no trouble. We are an older couple so the stairs were a challenge but the apartment at the top was worth the climb. Absolutely would book this apartment again.
