The Village of Bear Trap Dunes surrounds 27 holes of championship golf at Bear Trap Dunes Golf Club. Just a short drive from Bethany Beach, this exciting golf course community features a fantastic set of amenities, including the Village Pavilion (with an indoor pool, outdoor pool, kiddie pool, exercise room, Har-Tru tennis courts, hard surface tennis court, multisport court, and saunas for homeowners and guests), outdoor pool, playground, summer beach shuttle and clubhouse with restaurant.
This Bear Trap Dunes townhouse offers four bedrooms and easily sleeps 10. It has four bathrooms, a living, dining, open kitchen area, and a nice outside patio with grill. With access to three nine-hole courses at Beach Trap Dunes, and less than 30 minutes from the many other outstanding golf courses in the area, this property is perfect for golf trips. Being so close to the clubhouse, the location is perfect for people attending weddings. The location is also less than 15 minutes’ drive from Bethany Beach. Weekly passes to the community pool and recreation facility with hot tub and sauna are available for an additional fee.

THINGS TO KNOW
The Bear Trap Dunes Owners Association charges an optional per person fee for guests ages 4 and older for the use of the community’s amenities, including the in-season beach shuttle, pools, tennis and fitness center. This fee varies by the time of year and is subject to change without notice. Guests that opt to purchase amenity passes MUST purchase at the Bear Trap Pavilion.
Delaware regulations require all guests sign a lease agreement within 10 days of booking. A lease agreement will be sent within 24 hours of booking and an electronic signature is required before final check-in information is made available
If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

The house was nice overall. Fun pool table and nice fenced in patio. Well appointed kitchen. Loved that it was dog friendly and there was plenty of parking. However, it seemed to me that the “queen” beds were actually “full”, they just seemed smaller than our queen sized bed at home. There was a dirty bath mat in the downstairs bathroom that I suggested they throw away- it had dirt stains, sand, and bugs— we left it outside so hopefully the next guest does not need to worry about it. One sink did not drain. Just some minor fixes and this would be 5 stars.

The layout with 4 bedrooms, 4 baths and dog friendly worked well for our family. It’s near the amenities and the entrance of Bear Trap which made it a convenient location. Also I enjoyed walking out the back door to the driving range and evening walks around the development, we felt very safe. We were disappointed with the cleanliness when we arrived with dirty dishes, dirty wood floors and dog hair on the couch, not what I expected for what I paid. I mentioned this to VACASA and they sounded concerned but didn’t do anything to fix it. Now to be picky, again for the money spent the house should have had a iron, it had a ironing board but no iron. It didn’t have a measuring cup, important for cooking and again, I’m being picky but it didn’t have a blender. Kinda important from making frozen drinks on your summer vacation :).
