This will not impact your stay as all of the units are still managed and maintained by the resort. The only thing that will be different about the unit being pre-assigned is that you will not be able to make a request for a specific location preference within the resort.
** The state of Hawaii assesses an occupancy tax payable to the resort at checkout ranging between $10 and $50 per night based on the occupied villa type.
** Please make sure to check local travel requirements before you book and before you leave.
** Please note that the Main Super Pool will be closed for refurbishment from Aug. 2, 2027, to Dec. 10, 2027. During this time, the Lahaina Pool and Napili Tower Pool are open for your enjoyment. Thank you for your understanding as we make this important update.
** While we look forward to welcoming you, please be aware that the Hawaii Electric Company has notified us of periodic power outages that may impact our resort from time to time. These outages are part of the Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) strategy that is being implemented across the island to proactively shut off power to help prevent wildfires when certain conditions exist. The Hawaii Electric Company expects these precautions to remain in place on the Maui, Oahu, and Hawaii Islands for the foreseeable future. As noted, these outages could occur at any time and may last for up to one to three days.

The unit was a very comfortable 2 bedroom with an adjoining 1 bedroom with plenty of room for our family of 9 to sit and relax. Kitchen was adequately stocked, could have used regular size salt and pepper shakers. But it really is all about the view. Ocean front with a table for 4 on the lanai plus seating for 2 more. The resort is huge with plenty of pools and lounge chairs for seating. I would definitely stay here again.

This unit was as described. It had a great corner view of the ocean, was roomy inside. The full kitchen was nice for a family trip of 6. Noticed it was basically a 1 bedroom w/ kitchenette and a 2 bedroom with a full kitchen that are linked/separated by a door. Must have been two separate units in the past. The hotel was great for kids. 3 pools, a slide, pirate ship, etc. Lots of on site things to do throughout the day. Walking distance to Whalers Village. Golf course a short 5 minute walk as well. Only negative, was that the sand beach was washed out. Erosion has taken much of the beaches around this hotel and others North and South. So, we had to drive up north to another beach (only 5 minute drive). Overall, great stay, and our family had a great time.

the photos show you what your getting. the Marriott's Maui Ocean Club has been around. Beach is smaller than it use to be. lot of erosion. property well kept up. just gets the quick clean and is fine but not spotless. basics are well done. room is well supplied with basics to keep it nice, do laundry and run the dish washer. kitchen well stocked. had. great week. convent to the parking garage. the negs: porch is small. and the handrail is eye height when sitting out there. room is way different looking than photos. lots of updates and newer furniture (neg in that photos so old on VRBO). smaller than it looks but was fine for 6 adults. double room has to walk across unit to use restroom/shower. My personal preference on pools this was just ok. a lot of smaller pools with TONS Of chairs. Chairs in the lawn, chairs around the deck, chairs anywhere they could think to put one. limited tables. no chairs on beach. only in a $85.00 looking over the mangroves covered two person setup. did get water and fruit throughout the day. 10 min walk to shopping center. expensive stuff but nice stores. for the area. as good as all the others less the cruddy porch for a beach front unit.

awesome, vacation candy is the only company i will ever book my vacation with. from the beginning to the end they were great. there was 16 of us, wife, kids, grandkids, and in-laws. 1 thru 16 all had a great time, and vacation candy had alot to do with it. Thanks Ron
