We had a good stay over the Thanksgiving holiday.
Pros: Overall, really good customer service. Vacasa does a good job of communicating, before and during the stay.
The unit was very clean. Rooms smelled fresh as did bed linens and towels. We met some of the folks from the cleaning service outside the unit and they asked if everything was good. We got excellent customer service overall.
The unit is pet-friendly. Our pets are our kids and we appreciate having a nice place to vacation with everyone.
The unit is in a good area. We've regularly stayed in this general vicinity and there is lots to do, in addition to the beach.
Cons: The king bed: ouch. The mattress needs replacing.
The building this unit is in has some qualities of a hotel you know about that is not mentioned in the listing. Like in a hotel, the unit has a door that adjoins the adjacent unit. This door is a pipeline of sound. The family next door was not overly loud but this adjoining door provides almost no filter. We listened to a debate over regular vs. BBQ chips. No doubt they heard us talking about cake.
If you are booking this unit, be aware that the quality of your stay could be determined by who books the unit next door. While the unit is very nice, we won't book it again because of the noise risks.
