About this house rental
Come enjoy the peace and comfort of Canyon Lake Retreat. Play all day at the pristine lake or float the Guadalupe and then come home to grill some burgers and enjoy the backyard oasis! In the evening, roast marshmallows on the fire or enjoy some Netflix and unwind.
In the morning, sit on our covered deck and sip your coffee while watching the deer.
We love the Texas hill country and have designed this home to be a sanctuary for us and our guests. Canyon Lake Retreat is surrounded by trees, and we hope it will be a peaceful place to recharge and spend time with your family!
This home is stocked with everything you would need to have a comfortable and fun stay:
• Full dishes and pots for cooking if desired
• Shampoo and conditioner
• Washing machine & dryer
• Family games
• Outdoor covered deck
• Swing
• Fire pit
• Charcoal grill
• Smart TV
• EV charger
• High speed Wifi
The maximum number of guests is 8 but we recommend only 5-7 adults. There is one king bed, a full over full bunk bed, a twin trundle and one queen bed. There is not additional room on the floor for blowup mattresses.
There is so much to do in the area—whether you love the water, hiking, music or golf. Enjoy the free hiking nature trails, swimming at the public beaches, renting a boat or paddle the Upper Guadalupe. Rainbow trout fishing below the dam is also popular in winter and spring months. So many wineries and distilleries to enjoy on a day trip.

- Please check burn ban prior to using. Information on where to find that will come to
you before your booking.
- We are on a septic system (don't flush anything but toilet paper, use garbage disposal sparingly, use washer and dryer once a day)
- Bring lake/River towels and chairs as they are not provided

This home has a clean and comfortable feeling to it. Everything you need. Open, spacious, great location - tubing - Canton Lake - Gruene - New Braunfels all about 20-30 mins away!
We enjoyed seeing all the wildlife in the neighborhood, 1 night we had 6 deer in the backyard! It was such a delight to see. Great host, we will absolutely come back and stay again in the future!

The house is very clean and still smells like a new home. It is decorated beautifully. We watched deer come to the back yard each morning. It is a really magical place, and we will come stay again when we are in the area. The owner is a sweetheart and responds quickly to any questions. Thanks so much!
