When you find the right vacation rental, your South Walton beach vacation will be even better! And the right one for you might just be Santa Rosa Beach's Periwinkle—a lovely, three-bedroom vacation home with spacious accommodations, well-appointed bedrooms, and a private pool. The home is located near the Gulf Place Town Center on Scenic 30A. It has three bedrooms and three and a half baths for 10 vacationers looking for a quiet, relaxing beach getaway.
Periwinkle is in its own slice of heaven within a coastal paradise. Tropical plants surround the property, and the home's brilliant blue exterior and white trim radiate laidback coastal vibes. A breezy front porch invites you to come in, kick off your shoes, and stay awhile. Upon entering, guests are greeted with an open floor plan and large windows that brighten the space with natural sunlight. Honey-toned floors add to the spacious and welcoming atmosphere. The living room features a white wraparound couch and two blue armchairs surrounding a hardwood drink table that face a wall-mounted smart TV (live TV not provided). It's a cozy spot for casual conversation or catching the big game with your fellow guests. A dining area with a round table and six chairs sit next to the open kitchen. The kitchen has custom white cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, and an island with stool seating that doubles as a breakfast bar. From this level, guests can also access the backyard, which has a sundeck and swimming pool. Outdoor furniture and a grill ensure vacationers can enjoy fun, poolside meals, and refreshing drinks in this private oasis.
In addition to the great room, the first level of this nautical home also houses the master suite. This master bedroom includes a king-size bed, dedicated workspace, wall-mounted smart TV (live TV not provided), and an en-suite bath. Two guest bedrooms are located on the second level. One bedroom has a queen-size bed, a smart TV (live TV not provided), sunny windows, and a full private bath. The other bedroom is great for the kids in the group, as it has two full bunks and access to a sunny balcony that is furnished with rocking chairs. The kids will also love the bonus loft on the third level, which features a cozy couch and rooftop deck.
As if great living space, comfortable sleeping accommodations, and a private pool weren't enough, this home is also conveniently located to all things fun and beachy! It is a short walk to the neighborhood's private beach access, meaning you can find yourself burying your toes in the white sugary sand in no time at all. Great house, lots of room and a nice pool. Location's even better, being a quick walk down the private lane to the boardwalk.

The location of this house was everything! It is a minute walk to the beach, and there are restaurants and stores right across the road. We stayed here with our two little kids, which made getting out of the house so easy with everything nearby. The only thing I wish this property had was basic things in the kitchen to cook like spices, oil, etc because it’s not worth it to buy for a few days. However, the management company was very transparent about what was included with the property prior to our arrival so I knew this ahead of time! Any questions we had were quickly responded to by the management company. We will be back again someday!

Location was superb! Property was perfect for our group of four. Everything was wonderful -- I was surprised, though, that there weren't things left behind by other renters (salt, pepper, seasonings). It's a small thing - but this is the first property I've been to where everything is cleared out. Overall, great stay

We visit 30A 3-4 times a year and we love going to the area, however, this stay was underwhelming. I’ll start with the pros. Great location, good communication from property management company, big & spacious bunk room, close proximity to the beach, beach chairs and umbrella setup included, nice-sized pool that you can pay extra to heat (kids loved it). Cons: this house is very basic, with bare bones furniture and decor. The layout is small and boxy. House had an unpleasant smell upon arrival. Master bed is creaky, old, & uncomfortable. “Master” bathroom is tiny, with one sink and very little counter space. You can tell this is strictly a rental property, not someone’s personal home that they take pride in, and also happen to rent out. I stayed in this neighborhood over fall break so I love this location but not this house. For the price we paid, I expected better.
