About this house rental
KPort Concierge is excited to welcome you to this newly (2021) renovated, post and beam home just a 6 minute walk to Goose Rocks Beach. The open concept living, dining, and kitchen area makes for great gatherings. We have appointed the home with everything needed to host your extended family and friends. Enjoy coffee or tea at the kitchen island or in the screened in porch seating area. Then wander down to the pristine white sandy beach. Take our beach chairs along, and if you're venturing out for the full day and want to tote lunch and beverages, use our beach cart. It's great for lugging the bocce set as well, which is a must at low tide. Goose Rocks Beach is widely regarded as the finest beach in Maine, spanning almost three miles. Kids will enjoy the tidal pools and river at the northern end of the beach. Or if you prefer some tennis, the Goose Rocks Beach Community House is just a three minute walk from the house. The GRBCH also has a playground, arts and crafts, and basketball court for the kids (there are fees associated with using GRBCH). Golf in the area is easily found within 5 miles. If the water is your thing, there are many options, including nearby rentals of kayaks, stand up paddle boards, or boats. Goose Rocks Beach is protected by a barrier reef and Timber Island, so the water is calm. If surfing is your thing, just a couple miles north of GRB is Fortunes Rocks Beach, with great waves. And if fishing is your preference, the options are limitless: deep sea, surf casting or fly fishing are all great within Kennebunkport and Cape Porpoise.
Return to the house after your day in the sun, and rinse the ocean salt off in the outdoor shower. Enjoy cocktails in the screened in porch. Play lawn games in the backyard or let the kids roam around on their bikes until dinner. Prepare your gourmet meal on the professional gas range or the patio grill, or head out to one of our local favorites. The local lobster guys are nearby as well, if you want the true Maine experience. Our dining table seats 8. The wood burner is available for use in the winter months.
That's a lot about what to do outside of the house, because well, that's where you spend your time while at GRB. That said, we've setup the house to make your inside time relaxing too. There are multiple spaces to spread out, including an entertaining room on the second floor. The fourth bedroom and one of the full bathrooms is in a separate apartment space on the second level. It has its own kitchenette. There is also high speed WiFi, but if you're trying to get away, you don't have to share that information. Our preference is to pull out the classic board games and pretend the internet doesn't exist for an evening.
At some point you'll need to hit the hay. The main bedroom is on the first floor. The kids go upstairs in the big bedroom with two twins and a bunk bed. There is also a queen bedroom on that level, as well as one in the apartment space. The main bedroom has a free standing tub as well as a separate shower. There is also a powder room on the first level. There is a full bathroom on the second floor with a shower. The apartment also has a full bathroom with shower.

The house interior was well designed and very well fitted out and designed. The bedrooms and bathrooms were excellent and the kitchen/ dining areas were excellent as was the sun room. The exterior of the house could use some updating and maintenance. Suggest getting a standard propane grill for tenant use. Overall it was an excellent property for our stay. Thanks.

We had a great vacation at GRB - loved the house and having beach chairs, bikes, sheets, towels etc provided made it very convenient. Would definitely stay here again!!
