About this house rental
This is a quiet mountaintop area with many parks, waterfalls, adventure, hiking, biking, fishing, skiing, snow-tubing, river-tubing, antiques, boutiques, music & festivals nearby. The location is great for getting away from it all but still being close to everything. Within a 5-15 minute drive from the house there is so much to explore. Go hiking in your own backyard...the house sits on 6 acres! Also check out the hiking at Pratt Rock (known as New York's Mount Rushmore) only 5 minutes away.
The space

The house is a converted barn from the 1800s. There is beauty and character everywhere you turn. The house has plenty of space with a huge living/dining area, 2 decks, and 5 bedrooms. There is a sauna and game room in the basement.
The first floor has 3 bedrooms. One room has 1 queen bed, the second has 2 twin beds, and the third has 1 single bed. There is a pack n play for little ones.
The second floor has two master suites. Each suite has a king sized bed and a private bathroom with jacuzzi tub. Please note that in each suite, there is a curtain separating the bathroom from the bedroom area.
We have two decks set up for outdoor dining. The larger deck has a 4 burner Weber grill. There is also a playground and fire pit.
You will have the entire property to yourself throughout your stay. We absolutely love the Catskills and cannot wait to share our home with you. Check out our guidebook for things to do in the area.

You can park your car right on the property. Space for several cars. No street parking. No uber/lyft currently in the area.

We LOVED how spacious and comfortable this home was! We even had an extra bedroom! The fireplace warmed us up at night and the backyard playground and the woods were so much fun for the kids to explore!
Our child left her very expensive jacket on the property and Daniela immediately offered to ship it back to us! We need more property owners like this! What a phenomenal experience! Would come back 10/10!

We stayed for an extended family get together. The house was clean, beds comfy with plenty of sheets and towels. We loved grilling/cooking and eating family meals at the large table. The main level is open with a two story stone fire place. It was a bonus that the house was stock with lots of board games! The house was right off a main road so it was a bit noisy and the well water had a sulfur odor (both didn't bother us much). The owner was very detail and responsive. Overall we had a great time and the house was set up great for family entertainment and fun! We would definitely book again!

We (group of 8) had a wonderful ski weekend staying at the property. Gorgeous converted post and beam barn on route 23A. Convenient to Hunter Mountain (13min). Enough space for a large group - adults and kids were able to spend time in separate spaces and together. Lovely character throughout the house, incredible stone fireplace (double height) and well equipped game room with ping pong table, darts and arcade style machines. Sauna in the basement which unfortunately wasn't working when we were there. Owner was very responsive and easy to communicate with. The driveway and front door area were icy when we arrived and the owner called the snow removal company straight away. Highly recommend this place and will definitely come back.
