Wilmington Retreat with Patio - 3 miles to the beach

We had a great time for our sister trip staying here. Everything was clean, no issues. Easy drive to Wrightsville Beach. We would stay here again.

We were there for my granddaughter's graduation,only 10 minutes from the college.The place had all your needs taken care of ,from seasonings ,sugar,coffee( 2 coffee makers.Bathroom: plenty of towels, shampoo, conditioner and soap.Washer and dryer if needed and detergent.Only 10 minutes to Wrightsville Beach.Plenty of eatries and super markets in short driving distance.Downtown only 20 minutes away. Very quiet area. I would stay there again.

The property was very clean and the entry and checkout process were simple. The location was perfect as it was close to the campus, shopping, and the beach. We would definitely rent again.

Overall the stay was satisfactory with the exception of checking in and checking out. We got there 25 mins early, I texted the owner to see if we could enter a little early (I was with my elderly mother and her friend). I was told via text from the owner that we couldn’t go in and if we didn’t leave the property she was calling the police. I was dumbfounded and upset, I did nothing to illicit this respond, several minutes later via text she apologized saying that it was a mistake. And upon check out which we checked out 30 early at 9:30am, we were met by the cleaning staff who stated we we’re supposed to be out the day prior at 3pm! Which was incorrect. There seemed to be confusion and lack of communication, which left a bad taste in my mouth and I expressed my unhappiness to the owner.
