About this house rental
Saschiz is part of the UNESCO world heritage, and our house is located right at the foot of the Peasant Fortress, whose construction began in 1374.
Although the house hasn't been inhabited for 7 years, the old people who owned it took good care of it. Our house had no running water, no bathroom, the electrical system was very old, but it had a special charm - an imposing porch, a huge cellar, an 80-year-old bread oven, a wonderful garden and an extraordinary stone pavement.
Today, the house has been revived to show off its full glory. We were instrumental in treating the house to the period ornamentation it deserved, keeping all the original elements and adding other pieces that would highlight its beauty.
We offer accommodation in two traditionally furnished rooms - each with private bathroom, bicycles, wireless internet for those who work remotely and not only, a fully equipped kitchen where you can prepare your daily meals, a barn as a space for relaxation and dining, a basement transformed into a wine cellar, flower garden, beach space and picnic.
The Peasant Fortress, the Clock Tower, the Evangelical Church and the famous Blue Pottery of Saschiz are the emblems of the Transylvanian village that we love so much, also Via Transilvanica visits us with the wonderful paths that you can travel by bike or on foot!
We invite you to discover this magical place!
